He's now up and watching Storks (as usual). He's so funny when he gets out of bed- he has pretty epic bed head and stumbles like he partied too hard last night.
We have our tour at the birth center tonight and are bringing him with us. This shall be interesting...
We have snow forecasted for the next 60 hours or so, including a foot Sunday night and a blizzard Monday morning.
There is a PP rally I really want to go to, I'll have to see if I can convince H to go in the snow. Otherwise we've got a bunch of work to do around the house (mostly H has to finish patching the floor in the nursery so we can get the flooring guy in next week to refinish it) and there was talk of snowshoeing tomorrow but we'll see what the weather looks like.

Good morning! I'm headed to work in about an hour. My feet are a little swollen this morning which isn't cool. Being on my feet all day is not going to help things. I'll be sure to put on compression. I haven't shaved all week so I'll need to do that since I work closely with customers and since it's going to be 85 outside I'll be wearing running shorts to work. I work til 4 and then we have a date night tonight, but since we spent a bit more money so far this month I think we are just going to go on a run and then eat dinner at home.

Women's hospital? If so let me know your thoughts....

No, different place. This one is a birth center inside of a hospital but has no affiliation with the hospital it's within. My MWs suggested I check them out along with the women's hospital (they deliver there as well) since it's very similar to where I had DS1.
I need to schedule the women's hospital tour but figured I'd see if I can just do it after my scan on Thursday since my MFM apps are in the basement of the women's hospital

My class at the women's hospital with my tour is 2/28.

I'm excited for this storm tomorrow:) I'm off!
Snowstorms are nice when you can stay home and don't have to venture out or have to clear the snow. I brought work home so I'm hoping for a real snow day Monday.

You'll have to share your thoughts!
I'm a fan of LDRP rooms (you stay in the same room from labor through discharge) which makes the birth center more appealing to me- they can also do inductions, epidurals and c-sections. I'll see how tonight goes, but the 45 minute drive to get there will be a point on the negative side
Morning friends! It's actually going to be a beautiful day here today, and fairly warm. I'm headed to a yoga event at my friends boutique, and then to a baby shower. I'm actually pretty excited for both!
Morning! H and the dog are still sleeping. If he wants morning sexy time (which he was hinting at) I'll have to wake him up. I'm going to a Women's March huddle midday and we need to run errands.
H has to pick up my ring from the jeweler while I'm at the meeting. They fixed a loose side gem when I took it for inspection and when they gave it back one of the prongs for the center was visibly smushed. So hopefully that's fixed now.
MH is in a grumpy mood bc of no sex and is sulking around the house. He will barely speak to me so that's fun. I have a client meeting at 2, so at least I'll get out of the house for a bit (and a break from him) when will he learn that guilting me and making me feel bad does nothing for getting him any action?!?

Good morning!
Tomorrow is our last baby shower. I'm actually starting to spread things around the house now for babies (bouncers and diaper changing station in the living room, etc). I'm so excited for these babies to get here!
My BFF and her boyfriend flew in for the shower so tonight were going out for tacos!! (And margs for the drinkers....maybe I can get a virgin daiquiri).

We are doing maternity pictures today! H is the photographer and it'll take about 15 minutes, probably, but I'm excited to get some pictures of me with a belly that aren't mirror selfies. We did them about this time with DS1 and they turned out really well.

Good morning friends,
Nothing crazy here. The weather is gross and rainy so DD's soccer is cancelled. We've got a couple contractors coming to quote us on projects. I'm hoping to get out to lowes and/or michaels to get paint for DS's nursery.

What is proper etiquette for wearing a hat indoors? Particularly, this adorable floppy hat that I bought that goes so well with my dress today. Headed to a baby shower.

It's so cute akraus2015!! I never wear hats so have no idea on etiquette but I guess taking off indoors is safe...or just buck the system and wear it, it's 2017

Late responding, but I generally take hats off inside unless it's a themed party where hats are expected like a Derby Days party or garden party. I'm obsessed with that hat though
Thank you! I ended up taking it off inside...it just felt natural once I sat down.
