Y'all. Yesterday I pumped so I could sleep through the first nighttime feeding because I was nearing breakdown territory. We're visiting my hometown and it's just a parade of visitors waking up my baby, throwing off her schedule, etc.
So he brings her in to me after having her for most of the night saying, "I just didn't understand. But now I understand. She doesn't just sleep until the next feeding. She makes noise. She wakes up and you have to soothe her. I'm going to sleep for seven hours." This, when she actually slept longer than she usually does.
... This has been my life for two months and clearly he thought I was exaggerating or something. 🙄
I was out of the house on Thursday to meet with a potential candidate to watch the boys. It was only for an hour and all of us went so wasn't what I'd call enjoyable. Other to that I haven't been out of the house since last Saturday.
The temps are decent today so thinking about taking the boys to Target just to get out of the house. I don't know where else to go so Target is always the default. But I really should do some cleaning. Who knows, maybe I'll just be a lazy bum.
The weather is supposed to be nice today, dh needs to mow, but after that I've got to get out of the house. I haven't been out since a trip to bbb on Tuesday.
I really wish the meds they gave me for the yeast infection was working faster. It still hurts after breastfeeding. It's tolerable during the day but trying to get comfortable after a feeding at night just sucks. Work faster medicine!
lola I just told my friend this am how I had DH do a MOTN feeding last night. He was soooooo tired this morning. Really? I do it EVERY night! I finished feeding him at 11:15 and laid down, he did 3:45 and I did 6:15. He was snoring when I started nursing last night, so I can totally understand why he's so tired.

mrswillie that poor baby! I don't know how you didn't say anything. I think I would have had to. It's so dangerous and many people just don't know that.
AFM, DD2 is still sick. She threw up about 10 times yesterday between 11:30am and 11pm. 🙁 DD1, Hazel, & I escaped for awhile and went to my best friend's house for breakfast so that was a nice break.

Leo woke up way too early before 6 am. He's been a whiny mess since. I've been able to keep alex in the swing so I can cuddle him. I'm making him lunch soon and then straight to bed.

requiressnackslittlelionmrsp121308 I walked back and forth a couple times to make sure I wasn't seeing things and to get a good look. I stopped behind him and was going to open my mouth, and hopefully not cause a scene, but then I realized two things -- 1) I don't even know how to work that wrap to help him fix her ... can she face inward in it? and 2) he didn't have a bucket seat or anywhere else to put her if we couldn't fix it or turn her. Not to say he would agree and take her out.
I figured it probably wouldn't be helpful for me to be like yo, Mr.... WTF are you doing and not be able help and that if he just didn't care, I'd be more irate. I'm also irate thinking he's going to continue wearing her like that and that he might've even if I said something. Ugh. No. Why? I can't.

Lucy (the dog) gets out of dog jail today! I'm picking her up in an hour and a half after I get DD from her Girl Scout World Thinking Day activity that she's at this morning.
In other news, I got the Shutterfly app on my phone and didn't realize I already had an account that I'd uploaded to 10 years ago (and forgot about). I found this picture of H wearing DS. Cora ends up covered in whatever he's eating too -- not much has changed in his babywearing abilities.
Also, I resized this on photobucket, but it's still huge, sorry.
crimpgirl we've has basically rain every day since mid-december the grass and weeds were taller than the dog. Dh has been out there an hour just mowing and our yard isn't that big. I'm hoping that we'll actually get rid of some of the grassy area this year so it doesn't get so crazy again.

Alex has been sleeping over 3 hrs. Hope this translates to a great night of sleep too. On our way to dinner. I hadn't realized how warm today was. High of 55° & I missed out.
We're so hungry we're eating pringles in the car and talking about steakhouses.

My sister came over today and we took the babies to the grocery store. She pushed the stroller and probably got stopped 100 times by people wanting to see the babies. Toward the end she just pretended they were hers. It was pretty funny.
Also, me and my boss exchanged a few emails the past couple days and I officially told her what I'd like for a flexible work arrangement. I am crossing my fingers she is cool about it. (She's in her late 30s and always says she is CFBC so she has no clue what having a baby is all about)
And now I'm eating this delicious low calorie ice cream called Halo Top (I think). So good.
