Basketball this morning, followed by dollar tree for valentine's day goodies for ds' class, library, home for a bit, toys r us for the batman Lego build event, Walmart for some fabric for the damn bed tent of ds', little bit of fast food & home. I'm tired. 😴
Went out for brunch with some TCF friends. It was a good time. But then the underwire in my favorite bra popped out. So that put a damper on my good mood.
Not much else planned for the day. Probably go grocery shopping tomorrow.
Snow! We have some. About an inch yesterday, and this night another one. DD is over the moon. Spent the larger part of yesterday with DH building and sledding. Yay!

Probably gonna have a lazy day. Was thinking about the zoo but it's rainy. We had a $5 rewards thing from TRU so we put it towards a small Lego set yesterday so ds has been content with that this morning so far, Dh has been playing with him, I'm lounging on the couch. Winningggg.
Good morning! I am at work! There is a winter weather advisory in effect until tomorrow night 😩 It's literally going to be snowing all day! I'm hoping I don't get mandated to stay at work tonight. It all depends if the evening shift has a lot of call outs .
Yesterday was a lazy day and DD stayed over MIL's last night which gave me and MH a nice break!
Our new washer machine got delivered as I broke ours last week. It's so nice! Maybe now I'll be more motivated to do all the laundry!

How is LO doing? Hope she is better! ❤️
Thanks for thinking of us! She is doing a little better. She's still not peeing like she used to, but more than she was. I have a message in for the doctor to see when she wants to see us. I want to get a repeat urinalysis to make sure the UTI is actually gone. She's still really clingy and fussy, so I don't know what's up.

That's good that she seems to be improving. It's so scary! DD just had to get an IV because she didn't have enough wet diapers and was really lethargic. I'm glad I brought her in because they almost admitted her! Good for you for following up with the urinalysis! Hope she continues to improve! Keep us updated! DD is finally back to her normal self thank goodness!
So much laundry to do... I can't imagine if there were more people in this household.
Seriously I'm drowning! I'm going to try to start doing just one load after I get home from work during the week vs. it all on the weekend in hopes it makes it more manageable. Is that something you could do?
As always, I have nothing going on today. We may or may not go grocery shopping. It'll be tricky coming up with enough dinners if we don't, but I don't feel like going.
Ridley has been sleeping like shit since she got sick a month ago and it's really getting me warn down. So much so that I even contemplated making her sleep in her own room and doing cio. Which, let's be honest, I wouldn't do either. I like bed sharing. But I thought about it. I just need some sleep! It doesn't help that I'm a horrible sleeper and will lay there awake when she is sleeping. Ugh. Maybe next year I'll get some sleep. Lol

So glad your DD is better! Did they ever figure out what was wrong?

I keep saying I'm going to do that, and then work gets in the way.
I wish MH thought of it more on his own & not just when I ask him.
I hear ya. I'm usually so exhausted by the time I get home too. Maybe just give him a gentle reminder lol. Or you could "accidentally" break the washer like I did. Now MH is insisting he does the laundry lol 😂 However I know it would never get done if it was actually left up to him.

Thanks me too! Viral gastroenteritis (spelling I think?) Most likely caught it from DC. The issue was she was refusing to drink so got dehydrated fast. I'm not sure why she wasn't drinking as she usually drinks water all the time. I'm thinking she just may not have felt well enough? I'm just so glad she is hydrated now. The IV fluids really helped (although the process was traumatic). Now she has solid poops thank goodness!
I never cio with dd either and at 4.5 she still comes in our bed in the middle of the night. I love the snuggles, but some nights she keeps me up & it's awful.
It's a pretty great age. I think right around 6m is my favorite. She would play by herself, couldn't move around, and didn't have separation anxiety! Lol. But now is pretty great, too.

Thanks! Me too! I'm hoping that there are not a lot of call outs for evening shift as I could get mandated to stay longer. Hoping the roads are plowed as that's not usually the case for the city streets. Ugh.
I was eating these chocolate peanut cluster things.( The other day Blake was eating some and let Ridley suck on one for a while.) So I was eating one this morning and I didn't give her any even though she was desperately reaching and grabbing at my hand. So I put the last of it in my mouth and she sees my hand is empty, so she comes at my face, mouth wide open and tongue out. Lol. She was straight up trying to eat out of my mouth. I had to put her down so I didn't choke laughing.
Home safe thankfully! Roads were shit but I just went slow. Took me like an extra half hour. It's supposed to keep snowing until tomorrow morning 😩 MH is going out now to finish shoveling. Hoping the commute won't be to bad tomorrow but who knows. Is it spring yet?
