Oh hey guys. I'm no longer pregnant!
Got to the hospital, checked in, and my water broke in triage. I was fully dilated when they checked so over to a delivery room and after pushing through I think two contractions, I have the sweetest little BOY!
Maxwell Pershing is currently getting some TLC in the NICU for a bit because his oxygen keeps dipping, but he's doing really well other than that. Once he stabilizes he's all mine. We got to snuggle for nearly an hour before they took him for monitoring and husband is with him.
No birth stats yet but I'll update. Apparently we should have been the Feb board, eh?

So I cruised in and gave birth immediately, and they just brought in a woman who had an unexpected home birth - full moon plus a huge storm front equals "babies shooting out like PEZ," to quote my nurse.
So hey, if you're having contractions you might go in, just in case.

What a great size for 35w6d! He may be a little tall for preemie clothes - at that height and weight, you'll get some good use out of Gerber NB onesies (DS1 was 5lb 14oz, 18.5" and wore those for about 6 weeks).
WHOA! He was ready to come out and FAST! Wonderful name, wonderful weight, and I'm sure he'll be outta the NICU quickly! Glad you got to snuggle him before he needed to be monitored.
HOLY CRAP I can't believe how FAST that was!!!!
I was going to make a comment about the full moon lol - "out like PEZ is a funny comment!"
OMG CONGRATULATIONS!! Carters NB are 6-9lbs and 21.5" so you should be good. I definitely found Gerber and Burts Bees NB stuff fit smaller than Carters though.
