Our power went out last night due to high winds, and when it came back on I stupidly assumed my clock kept my time. So when my alarm went off, I got up, thinking it was 6:15. Nope. 5:45. It's only a half hour, but I could have been sleeping for that half hour!

It is so icy here! DD1's school has a 2 hour delay, my school district does not. I am so mad that I have to drive on super icy roads to get M to daycare and me to work on time. At least DH is home so that he can bring DD 1 to school.
I hate that weekends are so short. I need another day. This week starts my jam packed weeks until spring break rolls around. Too much to do, so little time.
It was windy here last night too. I hope my house is intact! We didn't lose power so that's good at least!
I have an US this morning after I drop P off at preschool. I'm hoping I can get back in time to pick her up! If not, my friend said she could help out thankfully.

This cold is kicking my butt. DH got upset last night that I didn't want to have sex because I felt like I got hit by a truck. Yeah, so sorry. :/ I have a feeling this is going to be a busy week at work. Hoping this cold goes away soon.
Kept DD1 home since we're not sure what made her sick last night. I don't know if I should be hoping for a food reaction or stomach bug. I feel bad that her reaction is that severe if it's food. Bug- a big DNW to a stomach bug passing through the house though...
I got to write up job descriptions of hiring some help at work!! This is all in preparation of me taking more craziness onto my plate, but I'm super pumped to hopefully add some help in the near future!
It should be a beautiful day here today. I hope we can get outside to play for a bit. Viv is being extra cuddly this morning which of course I do not mind.
I'm about to drop Henry at daycare and take Louis to his first pediatrician appointment. Thank goodness everyone is pretty agreeable this morning. Goals for the day are to nap. Can't believe I have a 4 day old.
This weekend went by too fast! Saturday I went to a women's retreat day. It was a good time as always but bittersweet because it might be the last one. The people who were running it retired so it all depends on weather they get a new board. Sunday I went to church and didn't do much else. Today DS has kindermusik and then I have a meeting at 3pm. In between all that is housework. At some point I have to work on DD'S Valentines. I tried to do them last night but the marker was rubbing off. So of course I couldn't find any of my sharpies. I'll be stopping to pick one up. Guess this is what I get when I buy the hologram cards for 30 cents when they go on clearance after the holiday. When I dug out the Valentines boxes out of the cabinet I stored them in I found an old bag of Lindt truffles I hid in there. Unfortunately they were not good anymore.
We finally have someone here to remove the wallpaper!! I'm so happy. I can't post a pic but the wallpaper in my kitchen is tan with grapes all over it (think Tuscan) and I hate, hate, hate it.
H is off today and I feel bad because I'm happy he's home but it makes everything harder. He isn't capable of doing anything on the kids schedules and it leads to extra fights. Just follow our lead man! Plus all the kids are still snotty and have a short fuse and he just doesn't get it.

Snow day #84 over here. It's beautiful to look at. I'm dreading work tomorrow. Not only is there a ton of shit to catch up on, but there will be no parking! Bostonians do this stupid thing where if they shovel a spot on the street, they put a chair out to hold that space. People have literally had tirea slashed and windows broken for parking in a "saved spot". I got a nasty note on my windshield last school year and it was days after the snow fell! We will let the kids out into the wild today (niece is here) and pray that spring comes soon!
Oh my we have had a morning! The wind picked up our heavy metal table and dumped it on its side, taking out a railing with it. My H even pushed it back to the corner closer to the house so it wouldn't get blown around. It's always windy here so this is just insane. I hope it's not too tough to fix since it's a definite safety hazard since our deck is so high off the ground. This all happened as I was rushing to cut up a zillion grapes for Ps Valentine's Day party at preK today. Then I threw up for a long time while the girls watched. Hailey was so cute- she kept on hugging me. I finally made it to my appointment and LO looks to be doing well and measuring on track with a nice HB!
I remember all of the drama over the spot savers from the last big snowstorm @ceci8876. Sorry you have to deal with that. I am glad I don't have to deal with the city and parking.
I took a vacation day for today, which coincided with the snowstorm. I guess I may try to put S in the snow. I feel like it is a work out for me though, since all she wants to do is run around in it. I end up chasing her, so that she doesn't go into our neighbors yard.

wells2010 like for the good baby report. Sorry about the puking.
I'm 14+ weeks and threw up brushing my teeth this morning. And I'm on the max dose of diclegis. Ugh ugh ugh.
On our way home. It was so nice to get away just the two of us. H was acting like a 2 year old yesterday morning though because he wanted to go home to see Molly. In the middle of a large snow storm. The man is an idiot. I obviously won and we had a great rest of the day. Toddler snuggles in T-6 hours.

I know it's only Monday, but I'm glad Adele won. Sorry @katechristine18
LOL - Honestly I was STRUGGLING with them being up against each other because I love both Beyoncé and Adele so, so much. I was honestly okay with either of them winning, but I do believe that Bey should have at least won record or album of the year, I mean, it was so apparently obvious how much of her soul she put into it and Lemonade was amazing and touched a lot of people.
I saw that Adele broke her Grammy in half after she gave that lovely speech so she could share it with her. That's sisterhood. They are both so lovely.
Omg. On Friday, the day we planned for Disneyland, the weather says potential for flood rains. Noooooo!!! Hopefully we can adjust our schedule and go on Saturday when there are only showers in the forecast

I think there'd be WAY less people if we went on Friday, but DNW to be in heavy rain all day with small children

Yeah, our rain hasn't been too bad, but the days it's been bad have been rough. I was in NYC the one weekend it was really crazy, so I missed it all, but I heard stories. Disneyland in a little rain is actually fun. But heavy rain? No.

Monday is pretty good today at work. Its a quiet week in these parts except for tomorrow when I have a playdate 30 min away that ends 30 minutes before I'm hosting neighbor dinner. And I planned "fancy Valentine's dinner" after spending too much time on Pinterest :/
