BBM just got real today. I'm not excited to weigh bc I have been super bad for the past week or so but if this is any indication of formatting moving forward I'm excited. I want to put on the muscle! Day 29 done!
I'm in awe of you 10 lb weight people! Lmao I am a weakling and only in the last 2 weeks moved up to 5lbs lol (was 3 lbs before that). I can't imagine a 10 lb weight in my near future as I'm having a hard time with these 5s lol good job!!!

I thought about music the other day too. I didn't do it because I didn't have the routine memorized and can't figure out the app, so I like to look at her and the timer and see how much time is left. What music did you listen to? I need a pandora station or something because I don't have any music on iTunes or anything.
You guys..... I got antsy and weighed myself tonight. I didn't eat much today (by accident more than anything), and it had been several hours since I ate, so I thought what the hell; I'll just see what it says. I lost another 3.5 lbs. I was shocked. I felt like I did not do as well this last period. But I'll take it! So I'm down 8 lbs since day 1!!! I am so freaking excited and so damn proud of myself!! I couldn't do it without your support and encouragement!

It's interesting how conditioned I am to 45 s intervals. I was checking the timer at 45 s for every damn exercise, lol. And the extra 15 s felt really extra hard.

I kept her video up on the screen so I could still watch her and see her timer. I was listening to a mix of Ed Sheeran (I don't care I love him) and the Weeknd- but I just had a second youtube screen open on my computer.

And I think I will need to bump up to the 10 lb. weights on some of these upper body things too. I have big babies - lol! I am going to take my measurements and report back later. I did the Fit Test but the numbers aren't impressive since I really find myself focusing on form rather than quantity.

I've been following along 6.0 and you guys are a great inspiration!
My fit test had some improvement over day 15, but mostly not. Bummer. I do feel stronger though, so it's confusing.
And I'm in the wee weight club. I use 3lb weights because I have itty bitty arms with no upper body strength. Working on it though! For the day that I move beyond my 5lb in my little set ... where do you all buy bigger weights? I love my 2/3/5 set, but I imagine I need to move to buying them singly?
musicalsilver yes please join us! As far as buying heavier weights, I'm no help. I use h's dumbell set with screw on weights. Sadly I use the little add on weights but it has all of the levels so I can move up when needed.
Now that i think about it, I have bought a few a year ago at walmart. I think they have a decent selection of them for good prices.

I have to confess I was a little thrown off because DH brought me breakfast in bed. I usually try to weigh myself first thing before I eat because I like the number better which I know is silly. It was very sweet though so I resisted the urge to jump out of bed and weigh myself first.

So I have lost 7 pounds since Day One. I have also been verified as a winner on the BBM Diet Bet I lost 1.5 pounds overnight thanks to AF finally leaving town!! Happy Valentine's Day to me!
I haven't lost many inches though. It's so interesting that Briana is the exact same weight that she was 30 days ago when we started and she's still so positive. Her illness must have really thrown her off. It's just very cool to be on the same journey that she is - I take her more seriously than I would some workout guru who is already ripped!

musicalsilver I have seen the soft covered weights at Target; 1,2,3,5,8,10,12,15 etc. They add up fast though. I wanted to grab some 10s the other day, in place of my 8s for some exercises (I have 3s, 5s, and 8s) but I didn't want to pay $30. I need to google and see if they are cheaper at a sporting goods store.
Day 30 done. Again, numbers all over the place. Speed squats were amazing though. I didn't grow tired or sore until the very end. That 10 second break goes way too fast. I missed the start of almost every exercise trying to stop, get to my paper (destructive toddler), write it down, take a breath and then get in new position.
I still need to take my pictures and measurements. I didn't do pictures last fit test, but I'm good with once a month. Hoping I can see a difference.

Did anyone do her 4 week slimdowns before Christmas? She did a live weigh in for th first one and her weight was up over what it was at the beginning of 5.0. You could literally see her almost tear up and 100 emotions happening and how hard she worked to turn it around to be positive. I fell in love with her in that moment because I saw myself in every second of that video.

My comparisons, day 1/15/30
Speed squats 49/39/32 <-- seems odd BUT I think I am doing them more properly and going real low now, I know I wouldn't have gone as low as I was Day 1 as today. Push ups- 20/25/40 I switched to knee push-ups today. Seems better for my body right now. Mountain climbers (total) 57/87/110 Left lunge- 25/30/35 Right lunge- 25/30/28 High knees-100/127/124 Tricep dips- 20/37/39 (Side) Plank- 40 sec/45/45
Weight-unchanged from day 15 (so down 3/4 pounds from day 1)
3.5 collective inches down on arms and chest, everything else unchanged.
Photos-this was my biggest win! My stomach hangs and is so floppy since giving birth to my second. So while my inches around stomach were unchanged from day 15 (after a huge change from day 1), most of what was squishy and floppy over my underwear has shot right up and sitting over or fitting into my underwear line now! It was a crazy physical change! You can see my posture is much better now too which probably makes a change in appearance.
A long ways to go, but happy to see some improvements, and figuring out how to do things properly for my body. Definitely getting stronger.
Well I felt like I kicked that fit test's ass but not all my scores went up. I think my form was a ton better on the squats and lunges though.
So I don't get how it is that my measurements haven't changed yet my pants literally fell down past my ass today while I was walking (luckily my neighbors weren't out). It's whatever. I've decided to just feel good that I feel good and let the actual weight loss come when it wants. I know I'm working the hardest I ever have in my life and I'm happy with that.
I skipped yesterday so I did Monday today and I plan to do the fit test in the morning and the cardio tomorrow night unless I get some energy for tonight. CONGRATS EVERYONE!!!!
