L is doing well and nursing. I decided to breastfeed casually, so no pumping and no killing myself to EBF. Whatever I can manage is what they get.
M is in the NICU for an apnea episode, probably caused by aspirating spitup like her big sister did. No alarming cause has shown up and we expect it will be labeled s one-time incident. I plan to go to the NICU for her 8pm feeding. She just started on oral nutrition again this afternoon, but she was nursing well before the spnea episode so I have high hopes for her nursing anilities as well.
My incision is sore, but I've been managing on 400mg ibuprofen every six hours for pain management. The gas bubble in my right shoulder hurts more.
So far this PP adventure is looking better than the last one because I'm a STM. C-sections, however, suck. I will never volunteer for one without clear medical necessity.
