Ugh my forgetting my wallet this am at the grocery means I didn't get food for lunch...but I really don't want to go back out until I have to go into the office. I'm sure I can put something together with what's here...but I want a burrito...or hamburger...

akraus2015, I'm sorry the nurse made you feel like crap. It's rude and uncalled for. I've been having a lot of painful braxton hicks and whenever I've called the L&D triage they've been kind of jerky to me. But unfortunately they are right. I have to drink lots of water and avoid caffeine if I want them to stay away.
I would like to thank whoever reminded me that Rice Krispy Treat cereal exists. (I feel like it was on this board...) It is amazing and I am happy for now.
Lol, try adding a flavor packet or squeezing fruit into the water...then dilute it some more until you see use to plain water. Baby steps Rama....
+1. You can also do carbonated water, if the fizz helps. Or flavored carbonated water. I like those for a change, but I've always been a big ice water drinker.
My mom hates drinking water unless it's super cold. If that's a thing for you, an insulated cup goes a long way. The ones I use still have ice in them the next day.

I'm exactly the same way. Water is gross unless it's ice cold.
Please divulge your information! I want to hydrate without choking.
Veggie juice, decaf teas (I also do caffeinated ones but if you want to replace water, decaf is better), watered-down fruit juice, milk. I think Gatorade is fine too.

Drink more water! I float all day long. I find a cup with a big straw works best for me, I get a large DD iced coffee with the wide straw in the AM and use that cup for water all day long.
Okay, but like...water is gross.
I don't drink plain water either. Flavor packets, tea, seltzer, fruit infused all work, too
Great, now I want a burger with means McDonald's. Bleh
You could come here and have five guys....
I could but my car is half an hour away, bleh. Sometimes, working where I do is a pain. The visitor lots were full since there's a session going on today. 😒

mustloveerica that is so sweet! doodler hope your back feels better soon. akraus2015 ugh how rude! I'm mad for you. Don't feel bad though. I get BH cramps often from my running (like everyday) so I'm used to it now. Drink lots of water and taking it easy always works for me....or sleeping lol.
Do I really have to complete the checklist on Amazon to get the welcome box? DNW all of the things they suggest. I guess I can add them, order the box, then remove, but wondering if there's a way around that?

Same! I have a huge jug that I fill up 3/4 with just ice. Love me some ice cold water.

I don't know if this works for the welcome box, but they do have the option to mark a section "complete" without actually registering for each suggested thing on the section. I did that for a bunch because unchecked boxes make me twitchy.

None of those work for me, unfortunately.
Rama like I said I have been doing Powerade. You just have to be careful because it is super sugary. I limit it to less than one a day. Do you like milk or milk alternatives? Milk is wonderful and low in sugar. I drink lactose free about 2cups a day. I do like herbal tea though so I do that too.

Has anyone here ever quit using shampoo? Like either do a baking soda/apple cider mix or just quit it altogether? Asking since my H decided to quit using it and see what happens and now I'm thinking about it. Basically...we are dirty hippies
akraus2015 what a bitch. I'd bring it up to your providers at the next app. She should not be an on-call nurse for this stuff.
Anytime you get crampy, put your feet up and chug liquids. I got scolded last week for not drinking enough- we're supposed to be up to around a gallon of liquid a day and I'm no where near that. I drink a lot of pregnancy safe tea and infused water lately. Before that, it was a lot of seltzer water.
I would steer away from green tea since it's a diuretic and will dehydrate you more. The sudafed dries up mucus so it was probably the combo
I love flavored seltzers. It gave me such bad heartburn at the end of my pregnancy that I had to give them up for a while.
