It's going to take a lot more than a baby for me to cut my hair. I love it longer. But, it only takes me about 20 mins to blow dry/flatiron it.
Give me your hair. Mine takes no less than half an hour for a "quick" shower and blow dries in NEVER. (Probably would take at least an hour. Straightening takes several hours.)
Haha my hair too. If I sleep with it wet I will wake up with it wet.

Same. This is why I don't go to bed with a wet head. It's still damp when I get home from work, 12 hours after my shower, as it is!

My hair is still wet from my shower this morning...

FFMC: On days that I shower, wash, blow dry, and style my hair it takes me anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours to get out the door in the morning. 😳

Lol I'm not a morning person, this is why I keep my hair long enough for a ponytail or bun, but not much longer than needed for that - wash at night, mostly air dry, then toss up and go in the morning. But I used to get up 20 min before I had to leave.

I also hate mornings. This is why I don't roll into work until about 9:30 most days.
When I need to wash and style my hair, it's an hour minimum to get out the door (which includes a 10-minute walk for the dog). My hair dries quickly with the blow dryer (about 15 minutes) but it takes more time to either straighten it or use the curling wand.
And it's odd, because while my hair dries quickly with the blow dryer, if I sleep with it wet or put it in a bun while damp, it's still damp 12 hours later.

Rama, Califia Farms makes this amazing ginger limeade. I mix it half and half with water and it is so helpful with MS when you cant drink anything. I definitely go back and forth day to day on if I can stomach flat or sparking water. If you have any pressed juiceries near you, they make an amazing coconut lemon drink also.
Guys, my mom thinks that it is perfectly reasonable for me to give birth near where she lives, which is 6 hours away from where we live. She had mentioned it once casually but now her friend also suggested it so now she thinks this is normal. Who the fuck would do that?! I'm trying to take deep breaths.

Mine goes to my mid-back right now and this postpartum hair loss has almost been enough for me to want to chop it off. Shedding shorter hair would be less gross to me than shedding my really long hair! I just always regret it when I cut it so I'm just dealing with the long hair everywhere.

Why on earth do they think you'd want to do that?? Hell no! That's crazy talk. What are you supposed to do, stay at her house indefinitely for whenever you go into labor?

Yeah... no. She does realize you get placed on travel restrictions that last month, right? What are you going to do, go out at 36 weeks, get a brand new provider, and camp out until you have baby?

She said to just come a week before my due date. Even though she had told me I would be too far along to visit her 2 months before I'm due. And what, just show up at some random hospital? I have no idea how long she thinks I would stay either.

Do people forget what it's like to be at term and then deliver? I feel like some of the mother and MIL comments are extremely odd considering they at once birthed a baby.

I'll be honest, that sounds gross. But I'd try it without mixing water with it. ;)

She has arbitrary restrictions for me but not when it serves her agenda. I went on an overnight work trip a month ago and she said I shouldn't be doing that, at 4 months pregnant.

My mom tells me all the time how horrible giving birth to me was. She at least remembers the parts that is useful for making me feel bad.
Oh she says I can just fly. And my sister's doctor can deliver the baby. And my husband can make trips back home a few times if he needs to tend to his business. She's got it all figured out.

My genius husband thought it would be a good idea not to replace the dead batteries in the thermostat FOR A WHOLE 24 HOURS. IN FEBRUARY. We are freezing.

I've definitely worried about the possible postpartum loss.
I missed a busy day here today! I woke up feeling as awful as last night with the cramping. But then it got better! The ever present "dear god why" rib pain is there, but whatevs. And work was nuts.
Yaaaaaaaaaaaay Rama! I love water, so I have no good suggestions, but I hope you are able to find something you like.
hpnegirl, a gallon?? Gah, no wonder I'm always dehydrated lately.
PirateCat, no to your mom. Just no. I can't even with how much no.
marshian, I didn't know there was a welcome box. I must investigate this.

I woke up from a not so great nap. We are going to a surprise wedding tonight, and it doesn't start until 9pm. I don't know how I'll make it that late.
