lilmonk, I didn't start trying to wear DD until she was ~15 months. I got a toddler Tula and loved it but she wasn't crazy about it- probably just because I hadn't been wearing her all along. I got a standard Tula this time and I think I'm going to get an Infantino Mei Tei, too. With DD running around, I think I'm going to need to wear this one a lot more.
Hope you enjoy your Tula! Which design did you get?
I made my own "Moby" with DS and he liked it for about a week then protested so I gave up! I was looking into ring slings to use when this one is little tiny but got the baby insert for the Tula as well.

Annnnnnd I'm nesting. 840 pm on Saturday night and I should be working on my assignment for school but I'm rearranging my house. And my husband has agreed to give up his office for a nursery. That's a huge win and I didn't even have to ask!

DH and I have been so busy all weekend. We have 2 storage units we need to consolidate into one. We rent half of our friend's garage for storage and he sold his house. We need to move all our stuff, including a pool table, by the end of February. We shrank one down this weekend and will move the garage contents next weekend. I have no idea where the pool table is going to go, so this should be interesting. It's sentimental, so he won't let go of it. We're shopping for a house with a basement, specifically for the pool table. Today, I'm going to donate a bunch of stuff to our local thrift store. It's already loaded into the bed of the truck. I'm hoping someone will be there to help me unload it so I don't have to do it all by myself.
Tonight, I'm going to my annual hockey game. I try to go to as many as possible, especially since this is the last year my good friend will have season tickets to the Colorado Avalanche. Every year, he takes me to the Avs vs LA Kings game in February for my birthday. (It was almost 3 weeks ago.) They always play here in CO this month, and I haven't missed it in years. FIL will be babysitting starting at 4 pm and I can't wait. It will be nice to have a night out, even if it is a Tuesday lol.
TMI Tuesday: This pressure/pain in my pelvic/groin region can fuck off.
We got the furniture delivered for DD's big girl room on Sunday and got her all moved in. She spent both of the past 2 nights in her twin bed with no problems- and bonus, she hasn't tried to get out yet, so I feel like she's still semi-contained, although her room is kid-proofed.
Now we finally get to start decorating the nursery! We just decided yesterday on a Where the Wild Things Are theme and found some cute stuff on Etsy. I can't wait to see DD's old room look more and more like it belongs to the baby!

ThankfulSnail I'm kinda grumpy at the moment. It took me 30+ minutes to get on base so I was late and "missed" my appt. (I was 10 minutes late). Now they're having to squeeze me in between patients. It's so stupid.

Ugh, that's crap. My old Dr office was like that, but they made you reschedule for a different day.

Back home from cardiology. They actually saw me very quickly after the whole shenanigans over my appt time.
My EKG looked totally fine. They didn't repeat the ECHO since I had one in 2012 that was totally normal. After I asked about the monitor I wore in December he pulled that note up. I had 72 PVCs and 2 PACs.
He said because it was such a low load (like 0.12% of all my beats) and the fact that they've resolved that they're not concerned. And they're not really concerned with those types of beats anyways (especially during pregnancy) unless the load is greater than 40%.

I'm a bundle of out of control psycho hormones this morning. I am so uncomfortable in my own skin and all my shoes are hurting my feet. I changed clothes 457963 times waiting on DH to get home (was supposed to go to clinicals). Ended up just having a sob fest as soon as he walked in the door. I think I'm taking a mental break day and not going.
Nothing much going on today, just doing stuff around the house. I need to finish laundry. FIL inserted his in the middle of my 4 loads, so I have clean socks but no pants.
When cleaning out storage, found 2 garbage bags full of papers I have just finished sorting through between trash and shred. Now, on to shred but I'm waiting for DD to wake up from her nap.
I had a blast at the game last night, despite the home team losing. The Avs are the team in the league right now. It's very sad. My bro and his mom were upset, but I had to be honest. I expected them to lose, but it was a much closer game than I thought it was going to be. I got my mini donuts, which I have been craving so badly!! I can only get them there. I've actually looked into my own machine, but don't know if that's considered overreacting or not lol. ($100 on Amazon!) There was a ton of fans for the Kings there. I expected a few, as always, but we were surrounded! There was only one D-bag within hearing distance but that was it. A very respectful night between two teams.
We found a house we really want to check out, and our entire realty team (4 of them) are on some "team building retreat" in Breckenridge. One of them admitted to me there is skiing involved, so I didn't feel too bad when I emailed and texted (and threatened to call if I didn't hear back) about this house and what we could do so I could look at it. It's right down the street from our friends, and there's no HOA! It starts showing tomorrow, they come back tomorrow. It works out for me. I believe he planned on taking the day off, but... oops.
