One of DH's favorite foods (and this may be because his mom made it when he was growing up) is really simple: browned ground meat with white rice. Salt, pepper, maybe a little onion or garlic powder if you're feeling feisty. Pretty bare bones but oddly comforting.
We do something similar with spinach, diced tomatoes and Parmesan cheese added. It's delicious.
Sliders - I don't know the exact recipe but H makes it. Ground beef and onions. Then slice a whole package of Hawaiian rolls as one and lay some cheese, the beef, then top bread. And bake til melty cheesy.
Brown 1.5 lb ground beef. Drain and return to circular skillet. Arrange ground beef across bottom of skillet so you have a nice even circle of ground beef. Cover half of your circle with some ketchup. Like a pie chart. Cover a remaining quarter with barbecue sauce. Cover the last quarter with brown sugar. Add more ketchup and BBQ if you're feeling saucy today. Mix
Serve on white store brand bread. Father Tea Time ain't about that name brand life.
I haven't read through, so I'm sorry if these are repeats. Meatloaf Taco soup Tator tot casserole Hamburgers Enchiladas Swedish meatballs Goulash Beef fried rice Cabbage rolls Potstickers Quesadillas
Skinnytaste is my go to for recipes. She often substitutes ground chicken or turkey so if you ignore that, there's lots of options. Some favorites from there are: Rice ball casserole Cheeseburger casserole

This is not freezer friendly, but a quick one pot dish that will satisfy your salt cravings.
1 lb ground beef 1/2 C chopped onion 1 can diced tomatoes 1 pkg beef flavor ramen noodles 1 can corn, or replace with frozen
brown beef and onion. you could also throw some green pepper in there. add diced tomatoes with juice. break up noodles and add them in. add 1/2 c water to start and seasoning packet. simmer until water is absorbed, adding more if needed to soften noodles. add corn last.
I am making an italian stuffed meatloaf tonight. I also made pastry cups recently and made a filling out of ground beef, potatoes, peas, onions and curry.
I know Larry happened. Please do not try to convince me otherwise. Please don't talk to me about coffee. I don't drink it. I don't caffeine. When I state my opinion, that is me chiming in on a topic. This is not me saying you suck at life if you do or feel differently. If I want to say that, I will. If I want to speak on you, I will.
Earlier today it was suggested I make a thread when I commented on someone's lunch sounding like a good idea.
Never in my wildest imagination did I think asking for more suggestions would be a big deal. Believe it or not, I don't have a vast repitoire of ground beef recipes sitting in my file and some of these are more creative than I would have ever considered...they have been added to what was given to me last week.
At least I don't go into people's threads purely to shit on the fact that they made a thread. Idgaf if someone wants to post the same damn thread every day. It's a message board.
It's not even been a week since we did this discussion of hamburger meals.
mentioning that we just talked about a certain topic isn't all that shitty, we do that sometimes here.
