Thanks for posting this DVMmomma, I haven't had time to lurk the pregnancy thread and completely missed the update.
Fighter, I am so very sorry for your loss. Praying for the continued health of you and your other two, and for peace and healing for you & YH. (((Hugs)))

Thank you ladies. I haven't been on much but I appreciate you all thinking of me, my boys, and our family. So far the other 2 babies are looking good so we are still hopeful. I'm 26+2 so the goal is to keep them in as long as is possible and healthy for all of us. They are on constant monitoring so if we see any signs of distress then they'll be delivered. The contractions were still very consistent, but the magnesium has seemed to have helped them slow way down.

Hey ladies, an update. I was diagnosed with pneumonia (apparently I came in with it). That has been resolving but it's not gone yet. The babies will be 27 weeks tomorrow so we have already bought our survivors over a week. Our next mini goal is 28 weeks. If we get there, our next goal will be 30 weeks, and so on in 2 week intervals. Our MFM seems to think 32 will be the number (if not sooner). She said the max we'd go is 34 but that's probably getting greedy for this situation. I'm still getting contractions so I'm still on magnesium sulfate. It's not a "fun time" but it's keeping the babies in. I'll be on it until delivery. Apparently, the babies were almost delivered Tuesday night. I knew I was having frequent contractions despite the meds but they haven't hurt so I didn't really think it was quite that big of a deal. Fortunately, they were able to slow the contractions and keep the babies in.
Oh wow, fightersince83. I'm glad the mag is working for you so far. I'll be praying that those sweet boys keep cooking for as long as possible and for your health as well. Stay strong.
Thanks for the update fighter! You're in my thoughts. i know magnesium sulfate can be tough (I was on it after delivering Dd), but I'm glad it's doing it's job! Every hour that they stay in is a big accomplishment from what I'm told.

I'm glad they are continuing to monitor you and the boys. When I was put on magnesium sulfate with Z, it did not touch my contractions. The stuff is not pleasant but I'm glad they are keeping you on it as long as possible, that it is slowing them, and it is buying extra days for the boys to keep baking.
