LADIES! GET OFF THE MF SCALE! Gosh, give yourselves at least a month before breaking that thing out! Tell your OB you don't know and don't care. Everything is in so much flux right now and hormones are all whacked out. Postpartum weight math isn't very straight forward.

H blew up the birthing pool (dang, that thing is huge) and put the cover on the swing. Literally the only thing left on my "pre baby" to do list is go into labor. H's boss asked him if he could work this weekend and I'm all "lol, no."

DS2 is eating and pooping up a storm. I'm hoping this means a nice weight gain at his appointment tomorrow. The pump talk reminds me I need to follow up with insurance about this. They will only cover an electric pump if our deductible is met, which it should be now since delivery costs have been filed. I haven't gotten out my medela pisa yet because I hate it. I hate the noise. I hate being tethered to the damn pump. I've just been using my manual one. I'm hoping to get a spectra this time! I hear amazing things about it being more comfortable.
I just set my pump up and washed the parts. My LC suggested pumping twice in the morning -- 5am and 7am. That's a LOLNO for me. If I pump at 5, then I'm up at 5. No. So I'm going to try doing 7am. We'll see how that goes.
I'll see what happens at my doctors appointment tomorrow but I seriously thnk that next week will be my last week of work. Peace out motherfuckers, I'm not rolling up in there at 40 weeks and hating everyone extra. I think it will help my sanity to have an end date in mind too.

cosmicav haha love your mindset on that I'm trying to catch up and LT, love the new babes and hope everyone dealing with labor signs goes into labor soon! AFM, I was 100% wiped out from a sinus infection yesterday. Can't breathe and such a headache. I had a conference call I took at home but missed all my office hours so today I had to play catch up. Still stuffed up but feeling a tad better, thank the lord I didn't go into labor, wouldn't have been able to do it. Now DH and I are watching Titanic, haven't seen this in forever and I kinda love it

No shame. My due date is the 23rd and Friday is my last day because for my sanity I NEEDED a last day. Luckily H was on board with me potentially being on maternity leave without taking care of a baby. You do what you need to do.

Yep, same here. I'm leaving the Friday after my due date whether I have the baby or not... and I'm thinking not at this point.

That's a lot! Do you mind if I ask why she's suggesting you pump so much?

Well, I asked when to fit a pump in to start a freezer stash, and that was her response. I'm not doing it -- once is fine, thanks.
