jubilantsquirrel, I still think our babies look so much alike. Also, I always had trouble with I5 and 405! Did they put the tolls on 405?
Oh my gosh they really do!!
ETA: how's the pup feeling?
He's sleepy and wants to cuddle a lot, they said he should be himself after he's off the pain meds! It's times like this I wish DH were home more frequently to give him more cuddle time. ETA: that's probably dog-mom guilt... Lol
jubilantsquirrel what a day! I hope there was some wine at home for you. C is also really difficult when it comes to taking a bottle. She did fine for the first few weeks and then one day just turned up her nose. My mom has been the only one to have luck and it took about an hour of patience before C would deign to drink it.
shedreamsincolor I had an IUD after DS was born and never had any spotting (#specialsnowflake) but I did have a week of awful cramping about a month in. My doctor seemed to think it was coincidental and that maybe I was experiencing my first PP period (although I never had any bleeding). It was odd, but otherwise I loved my IUD. Hope things improve soon!
Long day. Currently rocking a sleeping baby in the nursery, I'm too lazy/tired to get up and put her in the crib.
Prior to this, I cleaned the house top to bottom, and potted geraniums for the back patio and impatiens for the front porch (just finished that around 9:30 lol). Realtor is coming at 10 tmrw so that'll give me a few minutes after preschool dropoff to do some last minute vacuuming and put away anything the threenager has dragged out. Cross your fingers she'll have good news about what she thinks we can list/sell for!
jubilantsquirrel, Maple Valley! Richard Sherman moved in the neighborhood when we moved out!
I love Maple Valley! I grew up in Kent, so not too far from there. I live up north in Monroe now, mainly because it's cheap(er) up here. I would also die if I lived near Sherman! I rep his jersey every blue Friday, so I'd probably stalk him if I lived there.
H is downstairs trying to fix it via YouTube. Plan b is to bring Colin into our room tonight and use his space heater to keep it warm. Not sure what we'll do tomorrow because H can't take the day off and I'm not staying in a freezing house with a baby. We might be taking him to my parents for the day and I'll come back and wait for the repair guy. Ugh.

cheshie6 I have total dog mom guilt too. She's been totally needy and giving me sad eyes all day today. I'm actually thinking about having a Gracie day and taking her to the dog park but first I need to register her for the park down the road which means I need to go to the township during the day and buy a tag. Damn puppy dog eyes!

goldenlove3 hope the YouTube videos worked and the house is warning back up by now. How miserable.
cheshie6 add me to the dog mom guilt club. The bullies aren't phased in the slightest, but the two little girls really miss their one on one time. Any second M is out of my arms one or both of them ask to be held. Terribly enough I sometimes just need a break and feel out touched so I don't pick them up. And I feel like an ass, it's been such a big change for them.

sophiegrace H actually figured it out!! Some plastic piece that holds a hose was broken which was causing it to fail. It's been temporarily fixed with duct tape lol. He's going to order the broken piece online and fix it himself.

jubilantsquirrel Ihave such hair envy of O !!!!! Gahhhh I die when I see his pictures!!!!
waitwhat Those thighs!!!!! Alec has tons of rolls too and I just eat them up with a spoon every chance I get.
Back of the knee? Check! Neck? Check! Elbows? Check! Tummy? Check! Finger rolls, yes ma'am.. Finger rolls? Check!
goldenlove3 I'm so glad your H figured it out!!! I'm always so terrified of having heating issues in the winter.. Like ya can deal with lack of A/C in summer but heating issues in the winter WITH a baby, I'm terrified.
Yay goldenlove3! Glad to hear your H solved the problem. We are the opposite of kleigh. I'm terrified of the a/c breaking. Heat...meh. It doesn't usually get too cold here. Nothing an electric blanket can't solve. But summer....no. When it's 105 out with 80% humidity, that's an emergency. One of the many joys of Texas in the summer.

ClassyMrsA I can't imagine a hot summer day without AC either. H grew up without AC and just lived in the pool all summer. But that's Michigan, not Texas. DNW a Texas summer.

Every single summer H and I talk about this. I remember growing up even our car didn't have AC and I would pray we wouldn't hit a red light so that breeze wouldn't stop. Cannot imagine what that would be like down south.
Love these chunky babies! I call C chunkster all the time. He's got a great double chin. I don't think I've ever seen his neck!
I remember feeding M one time after her bath and I kept smelling something when I was burping her. I couldn't figure out where the smell was coming from. Turns out there was stuff in her neck rolls that I apparently didn't get to with the washcloth. Whoops!
Eww my friend warned me about that so I try to keep it clean under there.

I thought I was doing a good job until the pediatrician found a neck roll I didn't even know she had at her two month. It felt very MOTYish. So embarrassing.

Horrifying. That's what it's like. When I was little, my dad's car was old and the a/c went out. It was so hot! He bought a new car shortly thereafter. Our a/c went out at our old house a couple of years ago when Lillian was a baby. It was only in the upper 80s, but those few hours waiting for it to be fixed were horrible. We usually go to Colorado for a few weeks in the summer for a reprieve. I think this year we are also going to Washington state for a week to escape the heat. Winters are great, but the summer...ugh.
