Both closings today. We had our final walk thrus last night. I have nothing nice to say about our buyer who just pushed closing back two hours because she missed things in the inspection and the receipts and now isn't happy. She has no leg to stand on...
What is she complaining about dogmama22? I don't really get the point of final walk thru unless it's to see where something was fixed that was found in the inspection.

She asked for two new light switches, one being at the bottom of the stairs for the light at the top. The house is almost 100 years old and made of plaster. They couldn't run the wires through the walls in those spots, which is why we tore down all of the upstairs walls to run the new wiring years ago. Without tearing down the walls and putting up drywall, the only thing they could do was case the wires in on the outside of the wall. It's 100% safe and up to code, but it doesn't look great. Doesn't matter, we fulfilled the requests of the inspection addendum.
Yeah. I get what you're saying. If she wants to tear down the walls and have it put inside, she can pay for the aesthetic. It's like asking for new countertops and complaining when the seller picks them out. You want custom- do it yourself and ask for the money.
Ugh, how annoying dogmama22! And what's the point of pushing closing back 2 hours? Nothing is going to change in 2 hours.
So they could call the electric company and ask why they did it that way. The electric company got back with them in time for our original closing, so I don't even know.
Tell her to paint the damn pipes and get over it dogmama22.
I swear some people just want to complain about something. When we moved out of our old house the buyer went on the final walk through and complained that the kitchen table was gone. Thought it was staying. Seriously. I mean, there were built in wrap around bench seating, but the table was stand alone. Not the same wood even. We had to move that sucker back. Annoying.

She's just been trying to squeeze out every dollar she can ever since the inspection. She also switched from a conventional loan to FHA in the middle of all of this, so I'm wondering if she's having buyers remorse worrying about paying for the house.
My husband is being stubborn now and I just want to be done. She's asking for $350 additional now...

dogmama22 - I hope you stand your ground and don't give her anymore money. She's been a PITA this whole process. But I also understand not wanting the sale to fall through and $350 isn't a lot in the grand scheme of things. But I totally would be your husband in this situation. FX it all works out and this gets resolved today.
Two things I'm keeping in mind: The sellers of our new house have been amazing - they've gone above and beyond with additional work from our inspection report that we didn't ask for. Completely replaced 6 windows for us when we asked for 2 to be fixed. They put all new smoke detectors in the house, which we didn't ask for, but was noted in the inspection report. They winterized the pipes voluntarily as well as keeping the electric/ heat on. They've just been awesome and I double checked last night and the house is super clean. I know they had professional floor cleaning done too. So, we're coming out ahead in that regard. Also, this chick is going to have to sell this house someday. It's very much a starter home and karma...

Well heck yea get the MacBook Air if you just need it for basic stuff, the MacBook Pro if you plan on gaming or doing some high tech stuff.
My H just bought an HP at Costco. He looks for high memory/ ram speed/ terabyte hard drive- that's all gonna speed up the internet access on it and give you lots of picture storage. It was like $400 I think.

I love my MacBook Air. I've had mine for a while now and no issues. If you've not used apple before it takes a little getting used to, but I wouldn't ever get a pc again. So if you get a 50% discount I would def go for a MacBook Pro like becole said. The air is nice because it's so light and thin but memory is limited and there are only a couple usb outlets.

The 2 I'm interested in right now is the MacBook and MacBook Pro I'm waiting on info for a couple others
I think you would be fine with the air, but get the pro if you want the best. It should last a long time. My iPad is good and it's 5 years old. They also sell Microsoft office at costco for $125. Normally $325.

Speaking of, unless you need Office right away, Gateway and NKU both offer it free to students enrolled in classes. If you need it right away I can help you purchase it for $30ish
