I successfully did a dream feed with DS last night and now both babies slept 7:30-6a. Much excite.
Also, my local Once Upon a Child is doing a 5/$15 sleeper event that I might hit up. Figure I'll want to stock up for DC. Although after yesterday's shit show I'm a little hesitant to go anywhere with my babies. 😬😬😬
DH's aunt and uncle from NH get here tonight and I'm so excited to see them. The last time I saw them was last March when I found out I was pregnant. I love 99% of my In-law family so I'm excited to spend most of the weekend with them.
We don't have much planned for this weekend. DS has half-day soccer camp on Monday and no school Monday or Tuesday. Need to come up with a fun outing for Sunday at least. Maybe children's museum? I still have massive spray so haven't NIP except at the baby-friendly movie I took S to this week. Everyone should see "Hidden Figures" -- it was amazing!!

WHY did I decide to try to clean out/sort the toys with a 23 month old here? Everything I put away he took right back out. Maybe I'll try again and give him one toy (blocks) to occupy him away from me.
Baby keeps falling asleep every time I try to feed him. He can't have eaten much... my boobs feel like they're going to explode. Wake up!!

My husband gets back tomorrow from his work trip, so one more day/night without him. My mom has been helping a lot. I was really worried about our schedule last night be she did her usual sleep at 8 pm, eat at 11 pm, eat at 3 am, up at 6 am. My mom took her from 6:30-9 so I could sleep. The doctor said she will drop the 11 pm feed at some point but I don't think her belly is big enough yet. I'm just happy we've got a consistent 4 hour stretch now.
Tomorrow night my parents are watching the baby while my husband and I meet his coworker and wife for dinner and a concert downtown. I don't even want to see the concert, but it's a goodwill/bonding thing so we can't really skip (they live in Georgia). However, I definitely want to leave early. I'll skip one feeding, so I need to pump sometime tomorrow morning so my supply will be okay. Thankfully there are a few bags of milk in the freezer. We've been pace feeding her when we use the bottle, but I'm not sure my mom will follow my directions.

My plan today is Kohls after lunch. Jumping Bean is 50% off and I saw online they have dinosaur tshirts which Leo will love. And after reading the article legalbeagle posted I may look for something for myself.
I'm annoyed at my DC. When Leo started in Feb I told the director baby needed to start the 27th. She said the 2nd infant room would be ready in March. I asked if the 27th would be ok (since the 1st is Wed). & she said yes. I reminded her today of his start day and she said March 6th is when the room would be open. Grrr. Now I have to figure out if dh can take pto and if I can wfh plus maybe get my dad or brother to watch him 1 day. Alex is still pretty easy to watch.

I think we've magically transitioned to the crib. Dh put her down in it two nights ago when he had to pee and she fell asleep. She slept almost 6 hours last night in there too! Not hitting the edges of the crib means she actually puts herself back to sleep, it's awesome. Now I just need to be able to sleep the same amount of time.

DD1 is spending Sat with the ILs and then we'll pick her up Sunday morning and DH is having friends over for a D&D game tomorrow, so DD2 and I will have lots of make-up cuddle time tomorrow and tomorrow night. I'm also off Monday so that will give me make-up snuggles with both kids. Being back at work this week hasn't been as bad as I feared, but I'd still drop it to be a SAH mom if we could afford it.

My Mom is here and that cold that never dies is now disappearing my voice. But oh well. Jane is having Phlegm breathing at night again so I used the Nose sucker so she cried torture. Ugh. I'm thinking of hiding in my room and sleeping tomorrow while my mom watches Jane just to catch up on some sleep. I'm a wreck when I don't get sleep. I'm like those snickers commercials even after I eat chocolate.
We're playing a lot of Settlers of Catan. My mom loves that game and we have fun playing it too. My dog is taking his toy and dropping it around everyone to see if they would like to throw it for him. So every few minutes you just hear a toy bounce near you.
crimpgirl I've only ever skipped a feeding while sleeping. Trying to decide if I want to bring my car adaptor and pump in the car between dinner and the concert.

FFFC: I'd need extra money on the side to be a SAHM...cause I'd send my 2 yo to DC every day.
I think I went a little too intense on my back bends at yoga yesterday, my back is stiff. Ah well, I'm still climbing today. *snip*
All I've been doing is purging and organizing the house these days and I am so sore. Arms, legs, back. I'm either very out of shape or my age is starting to show...
mrsp121308 OMG, she is just precious. I love that she's on a quilt. Where did you get that outfit!?
Thank you! It's one of my photographer's newborn outfits. She provides outfits for newborn shoots and Hazel is small still so we just used stuff she had.

littlelion, DD1 goes to Mother's Day out twice a week from 8-2:30 so that was a great break...until the last week I was off when they cancelled both days due to the county schools being out for illness....that was....special, lol
Ok so sleepers at OUAC were 5 for $15. I bought 15 sleepers. Somehow that equals $22.
I told the lady she wasn't charging me enough three times. Then I just gave up! Haha
A better steal than you expected!
I looked at my receipt again and she charged me $1 per sleeper and full price for the clearance sweater that should have been 40% off. Oh well. Win!!!!
It's in the low 60s here today and beautifully sunshiney outside. I successfully put N in the Ergo carrier and we took the dog for a walk - about 1.5 miles! N slept the whole time, which was good because I'm not sure what I would have done if he'd woken up and started screaming halfway through the walk.
