The only thing is there is no real "yard"--I mean there is the back to play in but you really can't put toys there since it is communal. There is a driveway and a garage. So that will the be the ONLY con.
C plays with our neighbors because of this.
Oh I agree. It is not much of a con, especially with every other single pro. There is an upstairs deck that you can expand/redo and DH plans on building that bigger---so she can be outside more and play with her "messy" things there-play-doh, kinetic sand, paint.
when there's one blueberry muffin left at your favorite coffee place and you do that fast shuffle movement to get to it? That's like that. Some people do it without trying to get the last muffin.
I'm up with all three kids and letting DH sleep. They're even being relatively quiet, lucky him! Taking the kids skating after brunch, laundry and tidying, packing for an overnight in the city tomorrow and friends over for supper tonight. I should maybe get off the couch and get going.
Someday, kbw12. The stars will align, a fairy or magical wizard will visit and you will sleep. Just stay out of the drinking thread when shanadoo is sharing gifs that nightmares are made of. In all seriousness, I hope you can get some rest today and are feeling better. Is there anyone able to take a shift with the kids while you take even an hour to lay down?
That is a huge condo! Sounds like it would be a great move!

We also have no backyard. One of the reasons the house was so cheap. It got frustrating when he was 3-4 but it's fine again now.
I was awake at 4:15 thanks to time zones. DS unexpectedly slept until 5:30. DH was out with high school friends and is still sleeping.
MIL brought a tub of DH's Legos to use in our hotel room. There are some really cool space ones. And several things are still assembled.
I'm really glad I finally thought to get us a room with a king bed and a sofa bed instead of two queens. The extra daytime space and the coffee table to play on are great. Plus king bed.
My BFF is coming over in a few hours and DH managed to make a mess in the kitchen and use all the milk before he went to bed last night. He was drinking whiskey last night so I probably should have seen this coming when he said he was going to stay up after I went to bed for "a quick snack". I'm debating how long I want to wait before I wake him to take the baby so I can clean and go buy milk. I can't do coffee without milk and I'm dying for a caffeine infusion right now. I think I'm going to give him one more hour and then he is out of luck.
MH just looked at me and said he thinks DS2 is sick. YOU THINK?
Like how is he so unable to see the obvious things and still live? I don't understand how he doesn't walk into potholes or run into trees in a daily basis.
I've pulled out most of DS's toys at this point to tempt him, but he is still 100% determined to get to the diaper pail and play with that. For a baby who can't crawl yet he's traveling across the room over and over with remarkable efficiency.
