DS also hated the MW office, had a confused look on his face when I got my DTaP, and a look of wonder at hearing the heartbeat on the Doppler. He couldn't wait to be out of there. Toddlers...

I can't wait to get a glider! I'm most excited about it, I think, though I need to figure out what the heck to do with two babies...but somehow I'll figure it out.
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!

I have a planning meeting with my boss and assistant tomorrow to discuss my maternity leave.
I'm going back through my emails from last summer (since this summer is when I'll be out) to remind me of what I was doing during those months and help spark my memory for things I might need to plan for. It's actually really helpful!
Twin moms to be, I really wanted a double rocker but we didn't have the space for one. Wayfair has one for an awesome price right now!! I'm considering getting one for our family room because the price is so great.

Thanks for that tip mustloveerica, I think we are going to do a double glider somewhere in the house. I'm not ready to buy yet...but I like window shopping!

See my other post. I just saw a really nice double rocker on Wayfair for under $300. I couldn't fit a double rocker in my nursery so instead I aimed for one with lower arms. That way I'm able to rest a twin nursing pillow on my lap and across the arms.

We have tons of stuff from Wayfair in our house. I've yet to be disappointed and their sales always come back around several times a year. So when you are ready to shop it would be a great place to start for a double rocker/glider. They have quite a few!

akraus2015, that would drive me crazy! $4K go-cart to use in 5 years - good deal! $400 travel system to use now(ish), everyday - too expensive! I just don't get people sometimes. My in-laws, who live an hour and a half away, have a newfound love of yardsale-ing. Everytime they come to visit, they bring DD a bunch of crap she doesn't need that is in questionable condition. DD just spent the weekend with them and MIL told MH over the phone that she got all sorts of "treasures" so MH told her to keep to at their house because we have no room (we just spent the weekend clearing out a ton of stuff to make room for the baby). Of course DD comes home with all of it, practically filled up MIL's whole trunk, including a dirty stuffed Dumbo toy that is bigger than DD. I think these "treasures" are going to "go missing" one by one on trash days.

Gross to the dirty Dumbo. I'm all for yard sales, but DNW extra crap in my house.

Our glider was one of our bigger splurges with DD and I was so happy we got the one we did (I think it was @ $600 for the glider and ottoman). It is so comfy and has held up really well. However, now with #2, we felt like we had to build the new nursery around the chair since we did not want to buy a new one. It's mint green and was a pain in the butt to find boy nursery bedding that matched the chair. So learn from my mistake - buy a neutral color if you plan on reusing the glider.

akraus2015 I just want to thank you for the Lily Jade obsession. I just bit the bullet on a camel Rosie and picked up a matching water bottle from Amazon and a wallet from Target 🙈

onesweetworld, ours is a Best Storytime chair but I think it's the Quinn. It has gotten a lot of use in the 3 years we have had it and I can't wait to start using it again with this LO. I love that you can use the 20% off coupons on furniture at BBB. That's where we ended up ordering the nursery furniture once I realized we could use the coupons.

easilyunamused, I'm going to have a few newborn onesies and sleepers on hand but not many; the majority will be Carters 3m size. DD was only in newborn sizes for maybe 2-3 weeks so it wasn't worth having a lot. Remember that if you end up with baby who needs a smaller size, Amazon is only a click away! Much better than having too many of a size baby won't be in long.
Is everyone starting out with newborn onsies or larger?
Go to the hospital with NB and 3m. While DS1 was in Carter's NB for a few weeks (8.6 lbs, 20"), a few friends had babies born that went straight into 3m clothing

DD was 8 lbs, 22" and while the Carter's NB says up to 21.5" she still fit best in them for a few weeks, at least in the sleepers. I think in onesies she went straight to 3m because she has a long torso like me and MH.

hpnegirl, I think I need to get some compression socks. My feet are ok in the morning but by the evening, they look like they're going to pop. And they tingle a little bit when they're swollen, which is an odd sensation.
