yes not excited to be at work today. Although I do find that work makes the days go by faster. Except of course at 230 pm when suddenly time flows in reverse.
I'm sure it will be fine. I'm trying to time it after school buses and before lunch traffic.
Whenever I left the Boston area to head back to our area, I found as long as I left by 2p, it wasn't too bad, but I also do 75 the whole way down the pike and would make it to the border in a little over 2 hours with leaving from downtown. Leaving from where we lived in NH, we tried to be out by noon since we went around Boston and the one bypass highway is always a clusterduck in the afternoon
juliayadda, time starts going in reverse for me around 2:30 as well. Time to go home is so close yet still so far away at that point.
MH has a work dinner tonight so that means I'm on my own with DD after work and I will need to giver her her bath and get her to bed, which is what H usually does while I go to bed. This means I am going to have to stay up past 8. I foresee myself falling asleep in her bed tonight.

I'm taking the backroads home as they are a bit shorter than the pike. So I'll take 101 to 9 to 91 for an exit to 279 and 7. (I think those are the roads, I just know it by heart). If I was going to my parents I'd take 101 to 12 to 123 and over through Rutland versus Brattleboro.
Ugh. My headache is back. I'm trying not to reach for the ibuprofen although my MW approved use of it yesterday. I'm just hoping it doesn't get worse...
onesweetworld DH has done that trip and said it's usually pretty decent and a good view in the process.
It absolutely is. We come this way when we go to Maine too because I prefer it. We usually go around the north side of this area though and take the Daniel Webster.

I wish I had an automatic car starter. My car is so cold and I don't want to sit in it while it warms up with a t shirt on but I also don't want to drive home in a sweater.

Bleh, Daniel Webster. I'm not a huge fan but rarely traveled outside of the city on the border it cuts through on it... it was confusing for me to remember which exit was for what and which ones were only on one side of the highway. Sigh. Now I'm just bitching lol
You should stop at BRU or BBB before you leave to enjoy the tax free baby shopping! Oh, how I miss Living in NH...

Ugh I'm sorry you have the headache again!
Thanks, friend
They haven't actually stopped. I brought it up to my MW yesterday that it's been going on for 2-3 weeks. If they get any worse, I'm to call immediately (part of the reason I'm trying not to take Advil is to monitor if it gets worse- I'm allergic to tylenol so I can't take that which is why she okay periodic Advil for me)

MH's car has an automatic starter and I covet it so much, mostly in the FL summers when it's 1000 degrees in the car and you can't breathe. My car is a lease but if I decide to buy it at the end, I am going to try to negotiate them installing an automatic starter.

If there was a BBB or BRU on my route, I would. They may have them in Keene but I haven't looked. Honestly once I start the drive, I have a hard time stopping even to pee. It's like tunnel vision.
