Reese gets up for the day at 6am. She doesn't leave for school until 9:05. That means she seriously has 3 hours to do whatever she wants. Today she got dressed, ate breakfast and then played outside for about 45 minutes while DH and I got ready. It works well because she knows that the quicker she gets dressed, breakfast, etc the more time she has just to do whatever she wants.

sorry @hilarityensued, I'm sure you've heard we are supposed to be in for a rough allergy season
Have you looked into getting shots for seasonal allergies? As of now I'm sniffeling, snuffeling and wiping tears every 5 seconds The rain this afternoon should help for tonight but then it's worse the next day
I'd like to officially remove my entire sinus system from my head because @#$%$&^(*#^@%@$# I might actually die of allergies.
I'm taking Zyrtec, Flonase, doing saline spray, Allegra and also Sudafed occasionally and I'm BARELY able to handle myself. What in the fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk to this situation.
You know what really helps me? Rinsing my hair in the shower before bed. Also Benadryl at night and a different antihistamine in the morning.
DH seems to think that taking the day off to spend with a sick kid means that he can spend the day in bed watching tv. Lol, no. I gave DD instructions on how to help her dad do laundry today while they're home. My expectations are pretty low though.
The baby barely slept last night and I am having a shitastic morning. Sitting in my car crying trying to get it together. I'm already late for my staff meeting.
I'm working from home because this cough will for sure encourage offers of water, cough drops and concerned suggestions that I go home. I have no other symptoms other than barking like a seal. At least if I work at home I can get more done without those interruptions.
Hi! I'm here with extra coffee. My asshole dog woke me up at 230am, 505am and finally 607. I could have slept until almost 7 if not for her shenanigans
@hilarityensued ugh I hope you feel better. My allergies are not as bad as they used to be, but I still get horrible days here and there like that every season. It's basically straight up hay fever. Definitely rinse off before bed and take Benadryl before going to sleep. Have you ever tried Claritin D? Out of all allergy medicines, that was the one that made me feel somewhat human. I used to take it every day.
He also try a clean pillowcase every night before bed. More vacuuming and wet cloth dusting Change furnace filter Run an air filter in your bedroom And try a totally different old school allergy med like Benadryl or chlor trimeton once a day to try to break the cycle. I like build up immunity and Zyrtec will stop working completely and I have to switch it up to get relief I also have to take a decongestant regularly not just antihistamine.
If you have that bad of allergies you prob have fluid in your ears effecting hearing

Hi ladies. I'm home from work sick today so maybe I'll actually be able to keep up with this thread. I don't know what is wrong with me, but I developed a raging headache yesterday and feel tired and nauseated. I have narrowed it down to either bad allergies, the impending arrival of my period, or the very slight chance I could be pregnant (I really don't think I am though). I just feel really off. I hope it passes soon.
