We have friends visiting. Yesterday, my friend and I went to a yoga class while the guys hung out with the babies. It was amazing! I used to do yoga so often, and now I'm not exercising much at all.
What exercise do you do at home? When it's nice, I can take E for walks outside. But I also go do something while he's napping. Any favorite DVDs or apps? I have free weights and a yoga mat (and block and strap). Not looking to buy any big equipment. I love yoga, dancing aerobics type stuff, even standard calisthenics.
I really like Jillian Michaels DVDs, especially 30 day shred. They are under 30 minutes, so its pretty easy to talk myself into doing it after the kids go to bed. You only need a yoga mat and weights, and I'm pretty sure all the videos are on YouTube too.
Everyday I pick the baby up from daycare and walk the 1.5 miles home. I walk fast then slow then sprint then slow then fast, etc. It's working as the scale keeps going down!

Ugh NOTHING I am so out of shape! And I eat terribly right now! I really want to start going to yoga class on days when we have the babysitter but I keep not doing it.

I downloaded a few yoga apps - I'll report back! Might be easier than getting out of the house

Ugh I'm in the same boat. And I have no motivation

ditto... I even have a treadmill in my finished basement that I haven't used in a year. I told Him I'm completely off the hook from exercise until I'm sleeping the night. Right now I'm still way too exhausted to consider a workout.

My husband is a competitive powerlifter and just got me started lifting! He is my trainer. We have a gym set up in our back room and I follow a program called "Starting Strength." on Sunday I did a 70 lb deadlift!!
