I already asked @feegan this last night, but have any of you had strangers ask to take pictures of your twins? It was asked in a twins facebook group and I thought it was the weirdest thing.
Also, I've hit that "unicorn" pregnant lady status: you know, where people stop dead in their tracks to take in all your pregnant misery glory. I remember it from being pregnant with C, but tonight I noticed 10+ people visibly staring at me tonight as I waddled through Costco.
Does anyone remember how long postpartum exhaustion lasts. No amount of sleep seems to be enough.
I was lucky to get 3 nights of sleep at home before babies were discharged from the nicu. I feel like that put me miles ahead in my c section recovery.
Now I'm into the exhaustion of being awake from 2-4am feeding babies.

So I feel like I'm not asking enough questions of my OB when I see her weekly, she asks if I have questions and I'm like "nope, all good" is there something I really should be asking? I feel like I'm missing something and I'll be sorry in a couple weeks!

That was ALWAYS me. I almost never had any questions...and everything worked out just fine! I felt well-prepared, and a lot of times they answered things I was wondering about before I got a chance to ask. I was also very much in the camp of whatever happens, happens and I'll be ok with it as long as my babies are healthy regarding delivery, so I think that factored into it.

Also me. Between my OB and MFMs, I had very few questions (my MFM hired another, so I saw both for a while).

piccyami, pbandj714 thank you ladies! I feel well informed and like I have answers to all of my pertinent questions but of course that makes me feel like I'm forgetting something!

My feet are staring to swell, at 22 weeks. I've got a long road ahead, huh?
I started at 16w, people were really alarmed by the sight of my feet by the time I delivered- my MFM just laughed and said "you're having twins!" I think after 32 weeks I only had one pair of flip flops that fit and had enough support

Oh no! The stomach bug that has been going around here was awful. If it is similar make sure your husband still eats smaller, blander meals for a day or two after he feels better or he will backslide @feegan.

@wineandcupcakes, @feegan posted a pic when she was like 4w PP and she looked amazing. I on the other hand have 16m olds and have been told i need to embrace the flap or look into plastic surgery. Some women bounce back, some do not. I've had plenty of people tell me it's a reminder of the amazing thing my body did... yeah, but they aren't the ones going up 2 full pants sizes to accommodate this thing. I was also 40lbs overweight when I got pregnant, and I know thats a huge part of it. I didn't gain a ton of weight with the twins but no way was my skin going to come back from that! Give your body some time to heal, I was told a year after twins. It's much better, just not the same
@feegan schmella - ugh. I knew my body wouldn't look the same but I didn't think I would be physically lifting skin. I'm wearing the binder today in hopes it helps something!!
Yeah I'm pretty sure there's a post in the archives where I basically said, "WTF happened to my body?!?!"
Give the swelling a little more time to go down but it's fairly common to have permanently larger feet- damn relaxin!
Thanks. My feet stayed the same after DD1 so I was hopeful that would be the case again.
Yeah... I have fallen arches, so my actual feet didn't change much but the swelling... I think mine peaked at 2 weeks, and at 4 weeks a massage therapist friend came over to do my legs and feet- that was SOOO helpful in getting the last of the swelling to go down.

My swelling (and everything I gained with pregnancy) was gone in 10 days, thanks to the Lasix I was on. My feet and legs swelled alarmingly before I left the hospital, so the OB put me on things to help. My feet didn't change and I can wear all my shoes, but I completely wore out my tennis shoes, so I'm hoping to get more soon.

piccyami, did you breastfeed? The reason I ask is that I'd love to have some lasix post delivery to knock the swelling out but I'm not sure how that would affect breastfeeding.

I tried to and did ok until about 6 weeks. I'm convinced it was related to dropping my synthroid dose. My supply was completely gone by 9 weeks.
