I was going to make chicken parm for dinner but since I have to go to the pharmacy I'm calling an audible and getting sushi. I decided I'm doing treat yo self Tuesdays every week from now on.
I just signed dd up for spring swimming lessons. I accidentally clicked on a Sun instead of our usual Sat, so...we'll see how this goes. Hopefully it'll be better as we were trying to cram too much into our Saturdays.
My kid is just a little but we really like Sunday swim lessons because we don't usually have a lot of plans on those days. We usually hit lunch after which is also nice. Oh and it tires him out so then the rest of the day is relaxed.
I wish I knew if we are going to move or not. If we end up staying in this house, I have so many things I want to do. Until then I guess I'll just spiral on Houzz
I'm in this boat too. The holding pattern is the worst.
C was like that until about 4-6 months or so. We used the carrier a bunch. Once he started crawling about he was a lot better.
I hope you're right. I've tried several different carriers, and he just screams bloody murder and all of them.
All of mine have preferred to be held standing up at a poiny. When they are little I think it puts pressure on a different spot in their bellies and helps with gas. When they are a little older I think they just want the higher vantage point to see more.
What kind have you tried? I would have died without the carrier.
A K'tan, a Bjorn, and one more but I can't remember the name. The Bjorn was he closest I had to a winner. He stayed in for 7 minutes.
Have you tried checking out your local baby wearing international meeting? They usually have a lending library that you could check out all kinda of carriers and wraps. They could also help you troubleshoot any problems.
I'm reading trip advisor reviews in San Diego and waiting on MH ago get home from the gym to take me to my last supper before braces. I can't decide if I want chips and salsa or red wine. Maybe both...I could do some sangria.
I see no reason chips and salsa/red wine need to be an either/or situation. Unless you prefer margaritas with your chips and salsa
@hilarityensued we had cream on top milk today and my kid loved it! It was really weird shaking it though. It didn't fully homogenize but it was good. What brand do you buy? H just picked it up because it was in a glass bottle and he thought ds would like it.

for real. It all depends on if DS1 gets into our local charter school for kindergarten and we won't know until next March. So a long holding pattern

We're trying to figure out if the problems in our house are manageable/can we afford a new house. Even if we can it will be about a year to get all the work done and finances in order. So I get it.

This is exactly the reason. My favorite place for salsa also has fantastic margaritas. But they do have a sangria Margarita so maybe that's not an either/or situation either.
Marg with the chips and salsa, wine with the entree. See? I'm v helpful.
I saw that juice on a commercial and thought it sounded extremely yummy theophania ... it's not going to help my weight loss endeavor if I have to go and try it and then like it.
the exercise ball saved us. They are inexpensive as well. We got the biggest one bc my H is 6 ft 5 in, but I could still use it and I'm more than a foot shorter. Highly recommend.
The yoga ball was great for us at that age as well. My DS was the same way. Once he could sit up he would tolerate the stroller. Of course it became a problematic sleep association later though.

When does getting them in the car get easier? For the last few months I have had to use all my might to wrestle DS into his car seat and it is just getting worse. I hate taking him anywhere and doing daycare pickup because of it.

When they drive themselves.
Don't tell me that. I wanted to smack my kid today. Everyone else seems to just get in the car and go and we spend 10 minutes screaming and fighting.
