I have this set x2. We redid our kitchen last year, so I finally, finally, finally got to pick out dinnerware. Our kitchen is pale yellow with stainless appliances, white cabinets, and navy accents. I thought these were fun and I would like them for at least the next 15 years, because it will be a long time before I get to get new ones. Also, I can get the plain white add-ons, and they will reasonably match. I need to go and get the butter dish asap.
My main set is brick red with some browns and golds that goes with the colors of the kitchen.
I'm kind of laughing at all the white and blue sets.
I had white and blue when white and blue kitchens were super popular in the mid to late 80's. I had greens when kitchens were popular to be forest green in the mid to late 90's. I have reds, browns and gold to go with current/soon to be outdated colors. lol

I originally was going to go all red but decided that the white was better to showcase a meal and works better also with my linens.
