I got up at 4 to pee and I've been up ever since. It's whatever though.
I feel, weird knowing I have a definite date for when I'll go into labor. I'm also kind of relived because I was not sure I could handle being almost two weeks over again.

I'm here. Busy day at work including taking 2 different groups on a tour of our building. It's going to suck. I will be out of breath and waddling the whole time. Oh, and will likely have cankles by the end of it all too. Yay.
My H called in to work today and came with me to my moms. I am feeling... Not right. Lots of radiating pain in my back and legs and lots of pressure and pain on/around my cervix. Im having some painful contractions but not regular/timeable and I cant tell if they are truly painful contractions, or if they are just BH that are causing this current pain to intensify.
Basically I am questioning everything.
I have an appointment at 11 with my diabetes care team and I think I will head back to L&D after that if I am still feeling like this.
I keep telling myself itll be a waste of time and its nothing but... Maybe not. Plus I am 38w tomorrow so its not like I am really early.

Morning. I slept...okay. It's my last day in the office which feels surreal. Although I have heard nothing from HR since I submitted my forms 2 weeks ago, so I could be working next week for all I know. I need to email them today but I'm procrastinating because I really don't want to hear that things are messed up.
I've been spotting since my cervical check yesterday, and dr google is inconclusive on whether this means anything regarding impending labor. Does anyone have anecdotal evidence that this means labor is coming sooner rather than later?
I'm 38 weeks today, so even though I was hoping to get another week of work in, I'd be totally okay with the little guy coming this weekend.
Totally anecdotal but I had my first and only cervical check with DS at 38 weeks. I had spotting the following day and 24 hours later, I had a baby. So it's possible it means something! Or nothing at all, of course, since bodies are jerks.

Anecdote: at my first cervical check I dont recall any spotting. With my second check I had a bit of spotting and then my bloody show that night, which led to labour starting a few hours after that. My OB never said so, but I believe she did a membrane sweep because my induction was scheduled for the next morning.
Im feeling a little better but still unsure of what to do. Just some awful achy feeling in my lower abdomen still.
I really dont want to hangout in L&D just to be told im fine/need to poop or something. It sucks living so far from the hospital. I wouldn't even be concerned if it weren't for that.
Our plan was to come stay at my moms this Sunday until csection day Thursday. Im thinking maybe we should change plans to Saturday instead.

I say go Saturday. It couldn't hurt and would put you at ease.

My appts are done for the day and they all went fine. My swab was vag only! My cervix is low, soft and about 2cm dilated. OB said I need to wait until Monday because she's going to be out of town all weekend. L&D nurse SIL also has a bachelorette party tomorrow night so I really hope nothing happens until Monday.
Ugh. Daycare called. Clara puked. She also puked the smallest amount last night but was fine otherwise. I really hope she doesn't have the stomach bug MH had.
obi Your LO obviously is just trying to come at the same time or earlier than mine, just for giggles Sending you positive thoughts!! Hopefullly things settle soon

Sounds like you are having a baby this weekend
That's kind of what I'm thinking. DH works tomorrow and Sunday so why wouldn't I have a baby when it's difficult for me to get to the hospital lol.
This in combination with the storm front moving in is not good. The nurse that did my NST said weather patterns influencing labor is a real thing according to just about any L&D nurse.
I'm putting myself on bed rest for the weekend lol.
Yesterday evening I was having Braxton hicks anytime my bladder had anything in it. I also had to get up a ton of times to pee. Things seemed to have calmed down this morning. I don't remember my bladder and Braxton hicks going together last time.
Same thing is happening to me. I did not have that with DD either!

I hope she's feeling better soon! Tummy bugs are the freaking worst.
So my March 6 induction just got bumped up to Monday, checking into the hospital Sunday night to start Cervidril. I'm panicking that the week and a half I thought I had left has changed to 3 days, but on the plus side my doctor said I'm 1cm dialated and cervix is soft and low so fingers crossed it's an easy induction. I feel like I have a ton I need to do but can't organize my thoughts enough to get it all done
Hugs and deep breaths, ugaqueencity . I remember that panicked feeling well from the end of my last pregnancy. Do what you can in the remaining days, but also take time to enjoy your last time alone with just YH. We did a lot of Amazon orders and online ordering for in-store pickup from Target in the early days with DS1, and I have a feeling we'd have ended up doing the same thing even if we were 100% "ready" before his birth.
It sounds like your body is doing an excellent job getting ready to give birth! I hope your induction goes quickly and smoothly.
What she said ugaqueencity. It will all work out and get done eventually. You get to meet the best little thing to ever come into your life just a few days sooner than you planned. Go on one more date with your H and do all of the laying around that you can. You'll be fine
