Happy birthday tgrimes1980! I never logged on yesterday. Hope it was great!
Today is maid day so as soon as adam leaves w M I'll pick up and work until they get here. I've been so busy but have finally caught up w work. It's such a relief. nothing exciting here except an trip to the San Antonio zoo on Saturday.
We checked Chase's mouth this morning and couldn't see anything abnormal. It's probably just post nasal drip. Poor kiddo.
Anyhow I found out that DH got 2 referrals for Chase the other day, but failed to tell me that, since the other ENT is 25 minutes away. I was not delighted. Except then I looked them up and their ratings stunk, so I found a highly rated place right by my office. Except they also couldn't get him in for a month, but they were able to get a preliminary visit in other office (40 minutes away) on Monday. And we may be able to schedule follow-ups closer. Whatever, I just want this poor kid to be seen and have his hearing tested. I don't want to wait a month and then find out he needs a procedure, then wait for THAT too. DH has been radio silent since I emailed him but I really don't care. I'm the one who's stuck taking time off of work because he's got a fever or needs to see the doctor or just because I was up all night with him.
So yeah, apparently I am grumpy this morning. YAY.
Quiet day here. Heading the park shortly to meet our neighbor and her grandkids. The weekend snowstorm is already being downgraded which I'm very happy about. I do not want to deal with a foot of snow, but I can deal with a few inches that will melt quickly.

I love you guys, thank you for all the sweet birthday wishes! And thanks for letting me vent last night! I'm feeling better. Dh went out at 5am to get me coffee and a ham and cheese croissant before he had to go to work. Very sweet. I have our restitution hearing for Landon's dog bite this morning (not fun, but glad it'll be over!) and then I'm going to do some shopping alone and my parents are taking me out to lunch. I'm bummed about my phone but I've also realized it's not the end of the world an can be replaced, it just kind of pushed me over the edge last night. Anyway, you guys are the best and these gifs are keeping me entertained in court!!
Thanks everyone. I'm taking the appointment 40 minutes away, I'm fine with that. I'm just pissy because DH is being so complacent and acting like I'm being extra about wanting to get Chase seen sooner rather than later. Must be nice being able to sleep through the sounds of a crying baby. Grrr...

I was going to take Cadence out of the sports program and enroll her in just soccer, but it's the same day and time as dance class, so that won't work. Why would they do that? Ugh.
Morning ladies! H is at preschool and after drop off I went to a 5 year anniversary breakfast at work. Now S and I are sitting in the car in the parking lot of bru because she's napping. She fell asleep right before we got here of course. We have a blizzard warning from this afternoon through tomorrow night.
Sorry JoeLies. That is aggravating. FX the ENT will be able to help. Seeing one was the start of a huge improvement with Atticus, and I hope that will be true for Chase.
Sierra slept till 6am for my mom today...I'm so jealous! She has been waking at 4-4:30 for the last two weeks for me! I hope these few days with my mom "resets" her.
I swear, grandmas have the magic touch. I hope I get all these special skills when I'm a grandma someday!
Sitting outside preschool eating lunch before pickup, C and I have been out running errands this morning and I didn't have time to go back home.
Some good news: the house down the street from us that was listed on Tuesday went under contract yesterday for full price, and there were multiple offers. It's very similar to ours in terms of condition, updates they've made, etc. I'm thrilled...and now in a rush to get ours on the market because there is not much inventory and a lot of demand.
DD has finally turned the corner on whatever illness she has. Her temp was 100.6 but the doctor said if it doesn't spike tonight she can go to school tomorrow. She's my only kid that begs to go to school. She spent all morning doing her online reading program "so she won't fall behind" (her words, not mine.) She is now doing handstands again. She usually does a few hundred a day but I hadn't seen one in over a week.
My new Fitbit arrived today. It's charging now. I will be ready for weekend warrior this weekend.

Those with girls- I'm seeing a lot of cute one piece bathing suits, but are those a huge pain with diaper changes? I'm probably better off with a 2 piece, right?

Yup, still easier with a 6 year old. Those straps are hard to maneuver when wet.

I have done a 1 piece with H until she was potty trained. In my experience with the amount of time we spend at the pool I generally don't need to change a diaper until we are leaving. The problem with 2 pieces is that they always ride up so you have to make sure to put sunscreen on their whole torso.

My parents have a cottage, so we spend some full days in bathing suits. Good tip on the sunscreen on the whole belly. Why don't they put snaps on baby 1 pices like they do on onsies!?
