I'm pumping at work right now. I actually didn't cry doing off Jane this morning. I have two, possibly three client appointments today, so actual work to do and I even brought my lunch. Didn't make dinner, but we'll do leftovers.
Abigail slept 7 1/2 hours last night and went down pretty well too. She's even napping right now. Maybe the sleep fairy visited her last night. More 7 hour nights would be amazing.

I had to call off work again today ugh. I couldn't get off the toilet this morning. I'm so over this. I'm subsisting on applesauce pouches, Sprite and goldfish crackers.
Are you sure you're ok? And it's not serious? A friend of mine had same issue last weekend for 3 days and ended up in the ER. Don't know exactly what happened except that it was an infection. She was in the hospital 3 days.

I took DS1 to the bus this am then took DS2 and baby for a walk (can you tell I can't seem to wrap my head around calling him DS3 yet? Lol). It's sooo nice. DS2 had speech and then we waited outside for the school bus to come with DS1. Fed them lunch and now 2 out of 3 are napping. Baby on me because he fell asleep nursing. I'm going to sit in a chair and put my feet up for a few. I'll be taking them outside to play when DS2 wakes up from his nap.

Bastards took my title away. Had a mtg with my dir and hr. They eliminated my position and offered me a new one. Basically, same job, compensation, etc. But I'm no longer a Sr analyst just analyst. I had to sign an offer letter too. I took the opportunity to try to negotiate more vacation days.
On my way home. I got stopped at the railroad tracks. Slow, long freight train. I need to eat!
I tried the k'tan today. I have to say I really liked it. So much easier than the moby. So did Abigail. She was so enthralled with everything at the grocery store. It tired her out so now maybe i can get some stuff started for dinner.
Oh and side note... what is with people who think it's ok to come up and touch your baby, even if it is to say what cute little feet they have? I never encountered belly touchers when I was pregnant but man I encounter old ladies who want to touch or get in the face of the baby every time we go out.
I bought a second hand full size swing off of our local FB group. I was hesitant to do it because we don't have the space and I thought I was buying more crap Cora would hate. She hated the travel swing. But it was $20. OMG, she loves it. It's baby magic. I wish I'd done it sooner -- even if it feels like having a Cadillac parked in my living room.

Bastards!! At least it's the same compensation I guess.

I've encountered both. I look like a deer caught in headlights when it happens. I would NEVER do that. I don't understand why people think it's ok!!

I made grilled fajitas for dinner with rice and since we missed national margarita day yesterday, made some of those too. Delish! Still sitting on our 3 season porch with baby sleeping on me. About time for DH to throw the other two in the tub.

Baby has the corner of his first tooth poking through. This makes me sad. DS1 and 2 both got teeth early too. It's so sad when their big, gummy smile is gone so soon.

I think I run into toddlers wanting to touch the baby more often! I usually have the baby in his carseat, and I set it down on the ground if I'm sitting watching the girls at the park or wherever, and other little kids will come over and try and get in DS's face or touch the carseat, etc. Usually the parent is paying attention and makes them stop, but sometimes they aren't and it's very awkward telling another person's kid to stop touching my baby.

 Too soon. Alex has been drooling alot and I would not want it to be teeth. If it is he can say bye-bye to the boobies.

Okay, that is my question! What do you do once babies have teeth!? DNW her gnawing on my nipples.
How early can they get teeth? And how do you know? Just feel around in their mouths?

lola teeth can come at any time. Leo had his first at 6 months and I felt it (w my finger) before I saw it poke thru. His cousin of the same age was born with her bottom 2 teeth. Yes, born. There's the drooling, fever, & fussiness than can accompany a new tooth. As far as bf'ing, I think some kids are biters while others not as much. Leo maybe gnawed me once while bf'ing. And bit dh a couple times.
lola yes, everything littlelion said. Most babies usually get their first tooth between 3 months and a year. The average age is 6 months, but it's also normal to get earlier or later. You'll be able to see the outline for teeth in the gums before they start coming in. He had the outline for his bottom two teeth at his 2 month appt. when I pointed it out to his dr. When all mine started this early though, they didn't have many symptoms. He's been licking his bottom gums right now, but otherwise not much else symptom-wise.

Lol. I'm not ready either and this is #3! I've heard that the baby will usually follow suit of when the mother got their first two. My two brothers and I all cut our first tooth at 3 months also.
The best was with DS1 when I told people he was teething, they said no sweetheart, babies don't teethe this early. I couldn't wait to show it to them once it came through and secretly flip them off. I'm not sure how this will affect breastfeeding. The other two were FF. 😬
