@wicky, it's all about survival. I may not use the RNP but I cosleep in the first year and that is really hard to transition from too. When your up with a newborn and a toddler at different points in the night you do what you have to do to sleep.

I have everything I "need" for this baby, but I'm hoping to get both of these. I never got the froggie chair for dd but wish I had, and we had a similar bouncer from a friend and dd loved it.
Married to dh since 2012. Ttc journey: Miscarriage at 8 weeks February 2013 DD born march 2014 Miscarriage at 6 weeks September 2015 Miscarriage at 16 weeks, our angel Sebastian 1/23/16 Pregnancy number 5!! Edd 9/2/17 (my moms brithday!)

I've only heard amazing things about the FP sit me up. I didn't realize it was only $33. I might have to pick one up some time before baby is old enough to use it. I feel like he or she will like sitting in it and watching his/her sisters.
I really don't feel like I need anything. I checked our infant seat and it is good for another year, so we will likely use that for the very beginning and then put baby in our Britax boulevard. We want to get dionos for our 22 month old because they are much easier for her to climb in and out of. If anyone finds dionos on sale, LMK!

We have that frog chair, but the monkey version instead. DS really liked being able to sit up and look around. It was nice because it supported him well before he could really sit up on his own.
Is that frog chair like a bumbo in theory? It seems like a safer alternative but the same basic concept. I've never seen it before.
Yes, it's like a bimbo in theory. The seat is kind of like a sling, so it's not a firm surface and they can move their butt around in it. If that makes sense.

It takes longer for babies to sit without looking awfully uncomfortable in a bumbo. Personally, I think they are a waste of money. If I was going to get something, I would go with the frog chair.
