I really enjoyed this episode. It felt a little like the old Greys....you know, when the medical story lines with the patients were interwoven with the themes the doctors were going through.

I was really annoyed, though, that Meredith had all of this free time. Zola is in school, but what about the younger two? I always assumed there was a nanny, but what about now during the suspension? I know SAH isn't for everyone, but most people like to hang out with their kids on days off, right?
Just no to Arizona and Minnick. Glad to see Alex around, even if he did not ahve much to do. So, I really like Edwards. SHe is cocky, but she is talented and I like the actress that plays her.
The pacemaker girl storyline got me in the feels. When she saw her mom, little tears.
I liked Bailey reaching out to Mer. Even though I do not like the direction the writers have gone with her, a bit of the old Bailey was there.

No. I'm not a doctor, but I have a very demanding job. On my days off, I often take the time to recharge myself so that I can be more fully present with them when I am there. I also will pick them up early or take them in later but generally, unless we are doing a full vacation, I prefer not to totally disrupt their routines when I get random time off.
Okay, I totally get wanting time to recharge and not screw up the routine. I was just confused because she was complaining about having nothing to do. It didn't sound like she was wanting be be alone and bored. She made the comment about how it would be more fun to watch paint dry. So my thought was, if you are so bored and hating life right now, why not take the kids and have some fun? But everyone is different, I guess. I didn't mean to offend anyone with my original comment.
Meredith's house is not a house where 3 children live. No way. I saw one sole teddy bear and nothing else to indicate proof of life. (Not that I think they're dead, just invisible)
