I can't win with my blood pressure. I had a whole plan mapped out to get there early so I wouldn't be keyed up from my drive, but my anxiety about it being high basically meant my heart started pounding the minute I walked in the office. It was lower at the end of the visit, so I'm back home on orders to mostly lay around. I'm supposed to find somewhere to check my blood pressure on Sunday. I also had to move my appointment next week up a day and now it's at 6pm, which sucks. I'm pretty frustrated and sad. I feel like I should be able to just relax and stop this.
I know what you mean. It seems like no matter what I do mine is always borderline as well. :/ At least this is the home stretch.
Lots of people seem to complain about baby pushing on their ribs, but it seems like my little dude likes to push against my hip bones. Such a strange sensation.

Yes!!!! My first never did this. It's like she's spinning and singing "the hills are alive" in there.

My tall as hell DS was the worst rib kicker. From about week 30 on I was in almost constant pain from that bullshit.
This kid is more of a push against the hips baby. I find this way better, like 1 million times better.

My relaxing afternoon at home included an hour and a half of contractions. They were 18-20 minutes apart. They started right before the first wave of rain moved in and ended about when it did. The real rain and storms should be coming anytime and I hope they don't bring more contractions with them.
My H went to a 1 hour work meeting today, that turned into 6 hours. I was checked out of my room at 1 pm, so when my husband wasn't back at 6, and I hadnt eaten since 9 am, the tears totally and dramatically came!
My mom also made a joke about how we should call the baby by middle name...and I also started crying.
Back in the NICU now. J has a private room, and the recliners are so comfy. I'm going to feed her one more time and then head home to bed. I'm excited to sleep in my own bed! And snuggle with my husband!! I was always so hot and had that huge pillow in it.
J is already way more alert today, and it's fun "hanging out" with her. I'm so happy she is doing so well!!
