Ok ladies. I can't remember what lightning crotch felt like with my first kid. But for the past like 3 weeks I've had a sharp pain only on the right side of my crotch. Like deep in my labia I guess? I don't know how to describe it. It's every time I stand up and lately every step I take or if I stand on just my right leg. Just tell me it's normal.
Sounds pretty normal. My baby A spent his entire stay ON my cervix, so it was pretty consistent. Hopefully someone will change positions enough to alleviate the pressure. I'd probably mention it at your next appointment, just to confirm.

I think I read somewhere that lightening crotch = effacement...so of course I have been worried over the fact that I don't have it! Hopefully your OB can give some insight.

I'll share some of mine! It totally sucks. I can hardly walk today. Even rolling over in bed last night it hurt!

I mean my body was NOT ready for delivery, I was not at all effaced and I had lightning crotch sporadically for a good chunk of my pregnancy- I'd say always remember that a twin pregnancy breaks all the rules. I remember people were always trying to tell me I had "dropped," starting around 20 weeks. I mean gravity wasn't going to let my belly stick straight out for that long, it was just a matter of physics!
Oh ya, it sucks! Baby boy was very low and right on top of my cervix, I got head bunted daily! Then the normal plevic pain too its awful! Sorry! I hope it calms down a bit for you at least!
