I have my appointment today. I have been so so sick this whole time and the early relaxin has messed me up already....hoping to get some answers/solutions.
At work and a transformer blew. We got a note from IT to conserve energy since we are on backup power. Thought it would be a good time to come play here even though I am quite certain I am not conserving energy.
Also, pregsomnia is kicking my ass as well. When does better sleep start happening. Tired of being tired.

Good morning all. I'm leaving work a little early today to head to the bank to finalize some paperwork. In the meantime, I am fighting the strangest nausea/stomach pains that I don't know how to cure. Nothing to eat or drink sounds good right now, so I'm trying to just tough it out. Maybe it's the growing pains/relaxin going on?
I woke up early because DD2 cried out. When I looked at my phone to see what time it was, I saw an alert from my neighbor that someone had tried to break into their car. Then I started worrying that DH had left the garage open last night. Then DD1 got up 45 mins early. MOTY settled her on the couch with cartoons before school and tried and failed again to get back to sleep. Got up for my alarm and DD2 is awake too. Go in her room and she says "I pooped." Yes, yes she did. Thank god DH hadn't left yet and could get DD1 dressed while I gave DD2 a bath. This was all before the nanny got here. Is it too early to drink?!? J/k...is it to early to go to bed?!?

Hope everyone has a great Monday!
Good luck at your appointment today! Let us know how it goes!

Well, we just told my mom. We were hoping to hold out longer, but she was calling me to book a VERY expensive trip in late septmeber with her gal pals, and it's a non-refundable vacation.
Me "uh... I can't do that for you. We're having a baby in october" Mom: "oh, ok, I guess we can... .wait, WHAT?!??!?!?"
She was speechless. I never thought I'd get to actually surprise my mom with a pregnancy.

Things got a lot more interesting yesterday when DS (19 months tomorrow) fractured a bone in his leg. Poor little guy has a temporary cast from Patient First until we can get an appointment with a pediatric orthopedist. DH is a mess too because he was holding DS carrying him down a set of steps and slipped, which caused the fracture. Trying to keep both my boys happy this week is going to be an adventure for sure.

This might actually make me cry. I'm so happy. I can't wait to see my ILs and family's reactions.

Oh no, poor guys! I hope DS heals quickly and DH forgives himself. It was an accident, but I totally understand the guilt.

So it's hardly noon and I already had a new teacher try to throw me under the bus on a Monday. Thank god my documents were in order and my AP is backing me up. I have a meeting with this same teacher in an hr but of course I had to come home and go potty because it makes my tummy hurt just thinking about it. I hate confertations. Like would be so much easier if people just did their job. Oh. I'll also be changing my underwear while I'm here because the freaking Crinone is leaking every where!! I've never had this issue with crinone. Worried it's not going to be effective. Cmon 2nd tri!!

This is no fun. :( I hope the meeting goes smoothly and the tension isn't too bad.

Oh gosh poor kiddo! And I totally feel for your husband too. I fell down the stairs this weekend while holding my 2.5 yr old daughter. She hit her head but she was more scared than hurt. And I pretty much feel like I fell down the stairs. All bruised up and sore. So scary. I'm so sorry
I drove around for 45 minutes so we could look for school buses, fire trucks, and garbage trucks. Oh and construction trucks. Whatever it takes to get to nap time...

carsaidyes, how long do you have to do the crinone? We get to quit PIO at 10 weeks so not too much longer. I did the crinone for a while, the leakage is gross. Plus if you have PGAL brain everytime you feel something wet you think OMG BLOOD. :-|

I'm eating saltines and grapes for breakfast. The only two food items in my house, currently, that I could look at. Our first appointment/ultrasound is in exactly 1 week, I'm so excited and nervous at the same time!
Serious bloat going on here. I was wearing a fitted workout tank yesterday and looked down and was really surprised. It also got me really excited for an actual bump.

I'm so ready to see everyone's bumps coming up in a few weeks/months.
