How far along are you? What is baby's size? Any appointments this week? How are you feeling? Vents/Questions/Concerns: Qotw: Will you SAH or use some type of childcare for the baby while you work?
Hi! I usually play in the PgAL/PAIF check-in but wanted to get to know the rest of you ladies as well so figured I should start playing here, too!

Any appointments this week? not this week
How are you feeling? Physically I am starting to feel much better then the past weeks; nausea is as good as gone, just some queesyness in the morning still. I am still feeling pretty exhausted but to think I'm starting to get a bit energy back yay. Emotionally I'm struggling tbh, these past weeks have been such a strain on the emotions I guess I'm just still trying to catch my breath?
Vents/Questions/Concerns: Ahh, I just rambled on about things in the PgAL/PAIF check-in already, won't bore you with the same
Qotw: Will you SAH or use some type of childcare for the baby while you work? Ahh I wish I could SAH but unfortunately not an option right now heh. I do get 10 weeks of paid leave after giving birth, but after that it's back to work. I currently work 40h/wk and won't be able to start working part-time until mid 2018 earliest (at which point I'll switch to 28h/wk). But until then I should be able to take a day unpaid parental leave (or whatever tis called for you!) a week so I can be home with the baby one day/wk. MH works 4d/week and works weekends twice a month, so will home with the baby some days a week, and my parents will have their own "opa&oma" day every week. So we're looking at one day at daycare every week. I'm not happy about the baby having to go to daycare at 3mo old already but there's just no other option..
How far along are you? 14w1d What is baby's size? A troll doll Any appointments this week? Thursday. Just an OB check up so pretty short How are you feeling? Still nauseous and throwing up daily. And still tired. If this pregnancy is like last time, I have another 5ish weeks to go. Vents/Questions/Concerns: Not this week Qotw: Will you SAH or use some type of childcare for the baby while you work? I currently work part time and will continue that until probably a year or so after this one is born. DS goes to daycare 5 days a month for about 5 hours a day.
What is baby's size? Chipmunk/video game controller
Any appointments this week? Not unless I call my OB about pain I've had
How are you feeling? This weekend had a lot of pain while walking or resting in my lower abdomen. Started on the right and moved to the left. Today it's better.
Vents/Questions/Concerns: idk what's normal and what is not and it's driving me nuts
Qotw: Will you SAH or use some type of childcare for the baby while you work? Childcare. I will continue to work full time. It's likely going to be daycare most days. My FIL may be able to help out a few days a week but not sure yet. No clue how we are paying for daycare. Cray.

How far along are you? 15+2
What is baby's size? A box of crayons
Any appointments this week? None this week
How are you feeling? Sore. I tried to go yesterday without diclectin and pretty much died. I couldn't keep water down. I'm nearing the end of my prescription so I guess I need to get it refilled
Vents/Questions/Concerns: I was hoping I could soon stop taking the meds but I guess that isn't happening yet
Qotw: Will you SAH or use some type of childcare for the baby while you work? I will SAH. I only work part-time right now and it's more for something to do... my current job is about an hour drive away though and I only kept on there because it's in the town where my parents live so free babysitting. DS starts jk in September so I won't be returning after my year off
Any appointments this week? Just a quick OB check tomorrow
How are you feeling? The nausea is better, I stopped the meds. I have been more tired and headaches have appeared.
Vents/Questions/Concerns: I feel more tired than first tri! Hope that 2nd tri energy boost happens!
Qotw: Will you SAH or use some type of childcare for the baby while you work? I currently work 32 hours a week, 1 day from home so only 3 in the office which is nice. I'm not sure how WFH will work with 2 kids though! MH is home the other 3 days. We are hoping to start my other DD in a preschool a couple hours twice a week in the fall

What is baby's size? Cinnamon roll
Any appointments this week? Not til Monday
How are you feeling? Pretty good. I slept great last night for the first time in a loooooong time! Feel like I'm finally over the first tri tiredness.
Vents/Questions/Concerns: I feel like this pregnancy is going so fast! Before I know it, I'll be half way through.
Qotw: Will you SAH or use some type of childcare for the baby while you work? I'm planning on taking an extended maternity leave, but I won't be able to stay home. My mom will watch the baby either 2 or 3 days a week and the other days, he'll be in daycare once I return to work.

How are you feeling?
Overall, no complaints. I'm getting indigestion so when that hits a feel incredibly nauseous.
Vents/Questions/Concerns:
I'm frustrated with H not having a job. I know it is not his fault (he was laid off) and I know he is trying to find something and how hard his resume makes finding any job. It's out of my control.
Qotw: Will you SAH or use some type of childcare for the baby while you work?
Right now, H is on deck to be the SAH parent. If he finds a job before babies come home, then a nanny is our first choice.
Hi! I have been lurking and I am just going to jump in here.
How far along are you? 14 What is baby's size? jalapeno Any appointments this week? Had one yesterday just heartbeat, weight and blood pressure How are you feeling? Pretty good. The nausea has gone away and I have more energy. Vents/Questions/Concerns: I'm just sick of being sick. I feel like since being pregnant I have caught everything my daughter has brought home. I'm battling my second cold and had a stomach bug last week. Qotw: Will you SAH or use some type of childcare for the baby while you work? I will go back to work. I am very lucky that my cousin is the director of an awesome preschool/daycare that is just a few blocks from my home. My daughter loves it there.

What is baby's size? Two apples
Any appointments this week? Not until Monday
How are you feeling? Feeling a bit better this week. Nausea has improved significantly although not totally gone yet. Last week was a nightmare at work so I'm happy to be more rested this week.
Vents/Questions/Concerns: Not really. Finally told my boss about my pregnancy. She was very happy but not entirely surprised when I said I was pregnant, but her mouth dropped when I mentioned twins. It's the same response everyone else gave, wish I could catch it on video.
Qotw: Will you SAH or use some type of childcare for the baby while you work? I'll take maternity leave but go back to work full time. We're trying to figure out what the best solution is for us, as DS will be 2.5 and then there's the twins. We don't want to take DS out of day care because he really benefits from it, but it's hard financially to swing day care for 3 kids in NYC.
What is baby's size? An action figure, or a pickle
Any appointments this week? My normal monthly appt is on Monday.
How are you feeling? Pretty good! Nausea is definitely gone but now I have some aches and pains from growing & stretching.
Vents/Questions/Concerns: I'm like 99% sure I can feel baby kicking now 😊
Qotw: Will you SAH or use some type of childcare for the baby while you work? Daycare. H and I both work full time so DS is in daycare Monday-Friday for about 8.5 hours a day, and this baby will be joining him.
How far along are you? 15 + 1 Any appointments this week? Nope How are you feeling? Ok. Still gagging if I have an empty stomach. Vents/Questions/Concerns: nothing Qotw: Will you SAH or use some type of childcare for the baby while you work?
H works evenings right now, while I work day. So, we will see how it goes with a 3 year old and a newborn. H has had my niece at least two days, sometimes more since she was like four months old - so, he should be fine. We are not sure if he'll be able to handle three kids, so my brother/SIL might need to figure something out.
How far along are you? 15 weeks What is baby's size? Crayon box Any appointments this week? No How are you feeling? Tired. Solo parenting for 2 weeks while DH is gone for work, and DS is refusing to nap. Boo. Vents/Questions/Concerns: Still not over "morning" (aka all day) sickness. Qotw: Will you SAH or use some type of childcare for the baby while you work? I SAH with DS, and will continue staying home with the baby. DS is starting a 2x/week morning preschool in the fall though.
Any appointments this week? No appts. I have standard appt. March 17th and Anatomy Scan March 30th
How are you feeling? Okay - just a lot of pulling and muscles pains in my abdomen. I feel like they started much earlier this go around.
Vents/Questions/Concerns: no concerns really.
Qotw: Will you SAH or use some type of childcare for the baby while you work? Fortunately, I currently stay home. After my son was born I chose to stay home and left my financial analyst position. I have been home for just under 2 years. I will stay home with child as well. I do miss my job from time to time, so when the kids are older I'll be heading back.
How far along are you? 15w2d What is baby's size? ? Any appointments this week? nope How are you feeling? better, still get really painful gas after random meals but I have more energy Vents/Questions/Concerns: nothing Qotw: Will you SAH or use some type of childcare for the baby while you work? I'll take at least a year off teaching. If I teach after that, I'll have to use a baby sitter until newb is two and can go to the coop nursery school. Part time teaching does not support full time infant care.
But, I'm currently feeling a little bit insane and considering homeschooling my oldest for Kindergarten in the fall. With a newborn and three year old. He's done well in his Pre-K program, but he's consistent in saying he'd rather do school at home and do worksheets with me. We can't afford to continue at the private school with me not working next year and I have reservations about the public school, as convenient as it would be. If we go the homeschool route, I can still teach some since that's mostly afterschool and would leave us plenty of day time hours to take care of school work first, but that means going back to relying on babysitters for all my teaching coverage. And I'd be more limited in how much teaching I could take on if I'm all kids all day long too.
Then again, we might not even be living here much longer, which changes all the options any way.
