We definitely want another but the thought of being pregnant again, and having a newborn again (with a toddler!?) is terrifying. But I want them to be close in age. I'm assuming at some point you convince yourself it won't be that bad? Or you forget how hard it is?
You forget about the worst parts and only remember good stuff. I'm convinced we are designed this way otherwise no one would have more than one.
We want one more fairly close to Hazel's age. I liked the age gap between Mady and Aubrey (23 months) so that would be ideal for our last baby. I love being pregnant and having babies so I'm sad to think our next baby is will be my last pregnancy and newborn.
Plus I'm old/infertility/crappy placenta/losses/money/housing/retirement, take your pick!
We might be one and done! I'm not decided yet. I'm really not sure I want to go through everything again considering our infertility and the losses we had with ivf. But we do have frozen embryos, so we might change our minds in a few years! I can't even imagine starting to plan on trying again at this point!

I'm seriously considering it. I enjoyed being pregnant but labor, delivery, and the first month were horrible. We still have feeding issues. Maybe mommy amnesia will kick in at some point but right I'm totally game to keep it to just Abigail. We also did the IF route so who knows how long it will take, Abigail was a random surprise during our breaks from iui after over a year of iui and a loss.
My mom and I are going to visit my grandma in a few weeks. Southwest advertises "reasonable" infant fares. It was over $500! My round trip is only $300, with fees. It's cheaper to get her an adult fare.

mrsp121308 you are seriously supermom. You are my inspiration for getting out the door with two kids...and that's with my DH helping!
requiressnacks doh! I thought kiddos were going to MIL's since she is so close, but makes more sense that she'd come over since all their stuff is at your place. I might put up with a lot of Disney crap for Grandma daycare twice a week. 😉Glad it went well!
crimpgirl DH and I were definitely one and done for a long time. We changed our minds but there are so many good things about it. Please read One and Only by Lauren Sandler. I really enjoyed it! In NYC I know a lot of one and done moms IRL.

Baby sleeping on my chest. If her first chunk of sleep is 7 hrs then fine but if less than that then this is going to be a long night. It is better when she goes down around 9. Okay going to sneak in fifteen minutes of Revenge Body before I pass out.

I need to find a new obgyn. I was at my old one because it specialized in high risk preg. I'd like one closer to home too. I already have an issue. I have a pain in the left ovary area. Last month cd1 I had the most intense pain. And it's starting up again with my period about a week away. I really don't want to be dealing with reecurrent cysts.

I've heard about infant fares, but are only a % off the highest price tix. The wanna get away fares are always the cheapest.
FYI they have family boarding after the A's and before the B's if you don't get an A boarding number.

Lololol I'm in bed nursing Nolan and texting MH "omg come in here there's a big scary bug on the wall! Hurry!"
Well...it's actually a big scary hook, for a picture frame. 😂😂😂😂 i even have my contacts in! It's been a long day apparently.
That's hilarious! My mom was here this week while my husband was traveling for work. A huge roach got into our sunroom but we couldn't kill it before it hid under the piano. So we stuffed towels and blankets under the door to keep it out of the rest of the house. I'm sure it's lurking somewhere. 😳
legalbeagle is that the Bjorn bouncer? We borrowed one from a friend and that thing has been a lifesaver. Baby will chill out in that thing forever and just watch us do stuff.
As for other kids, we will use birth control this year and then stop using it. It took 2 years, 4 cycles of IUI, surgeries, and mega doses of fertility drugs to get our kiddo. I wouldn't be using any BC at all, but I had a c section with some bleeding issues and I'm supposed to wait at least a year from birth to get pregnant again. Right now I feel like I wouldn't want to go through fertility treatment again but maybe I'll feel differently in the future.

I am pretty sure I'm one (pregnancy) and done. I don't think my husband is going to give into my want of another baby. If it wasn't for the cost of IVF and giving birth/NICU then he'd be all for it. But...we've damn near wiped out our retirement savings.
We're done with 3. FI only really wanted 2, but he agreed to 3 because he loves me haha. He said he's going to get snipped now though, but who knows when he'll actually go through with it. I need to schedule an appointment to have the IUD put in. I was talking to a random lady while I was waiting for my coffee the other day, and she told me she has a newborn because 10 years after her hubby got snipped, she somehow got knocked up. So she told me I should also use some form of BC even if FI gets snipped. I think I'm always going to wonder if she really just cheated on her husband.

There was a HUGE one in my office at work one day. I cried. And it wasn't just because I was pregnant at the time. Scared as hell.... that there were more somewhere.

Abstinence is the only 100% birth control! At the hospital my L&D nurse told me that this other nurse got pregnant even with her tubes tied (I got mine tied). And had twins! I'm like thanks, not really what I wanted to hear.
