@macaronmama there's so many variables that would affect my decision on whether or not to friend that person. But if it were me based on what you said, I think I'd accept and see what happens. You can always turn her into an acquaintance or unfriendly her altogether if anything feels off about it. It's been a long time. People change and some become less grudge holding as life goes on. So maybe she just wants to be on decent terms and see how you are and vice versa.

I'm hoping all the party stuff I ordered for DD1s birthday comes in asap. The parties are the third and fourth weeks of March. Ooops. Her last two parties I planned for months in advance. We're going to do a separate kids party at the house. Our families are too huge to a redd in friends too. I just have no idea what to do for a 3 year old kid party at the house. Any tips?

PWing. I put DD2 down in her crib again and moved the camera. When I came down, I realized the camera wouldn't point down any further so I can't actually see her. Womp womp.

britta SO glad you called! And glad the nurse was so invested in making sure you are okay. Praying you hear back soon. sanibel21 Maybe a movie or some games like dancing to music? Something for them to understand without a competitive goal. If you like cupcakes, kids always love decorating with sprinkles and such. Though... it can be messy.
Thanks for all the advice guys. Just flashing back to undergrad drama and trying to remember that I have also changed in the last 10 years as well.

They're starting me on Celexa, giving me a refill on my Xanax and instructed me to actually use it, and scheduled a follow up with my regular OB in 4 weeks for medication and symptom monitoring.
They don't play do they? Thanks for the support y'all. I feel better actually having this worked out.
I'm glad you got help britta. I think reaching out is the hardest part.
My second therapy appointment went really well, I'm just soooo tired after them. Luckily I just got O to sleep in her crib and DD1 is having quiet time so I'm going to go rest.
After nap we might head to the consignment store to look for a jumparoo. We were at a friend's house with an 8 month old and she loved theirs. Anything to be able to put this girl down for longer than 2 minutes without crying.

Catching up. britta So glad you reached out. Hope the meds help. macaronmama I'd probably accept and keep it casual.
Woke up this morning to a furnace blowing cold air. Pilot light was off. DH walked me through trying to reset it. After 2 hours finally got it to fire and stay on. We left for 2 hours, came back and its out again. DH will be home in a few hours and can pull it apart. Temp has dropped a few degrees in the house but not horribly cold yet.
Went to visit our DCP. DD misses her and her friends so much. She said I can drop her off for a few hours Wednesday morning no charge. She really is the best. DS will be going there in September and she hasn't increased her price on us in 4 years.
Got a busy week ahead. Need to meet an appraiser for both of our properties. LC appt for DS. Plus all the regular running DD around.
Sleep is still shit. I don't want to talk about it. He's teething hard and has a cold. The post nasal drip is making him gag and puke post feed. Lovely.

britta , I'm so glad you made the call and they responded so quickly.
@kitchen , I'd be burning it down. Yeesh.
fem , we will hopefully be bringing the jumperoo out soon for G. N loved his so much, and G loves standing, so I think it will be a hit for him as well. I hope you're able to find one.
My coworkers have a radio outside my office. To entertain myself, I've been keeping track of how often the station has played Ed Sheeran. Current count is 4 since 8:30 this morning, with Shape of You played 3 times. It's a bit ridiculous. I really wish I had cell service at my desk so I could listen to a bit more variety.

@holachica , Kohl's has an adorable Beauty and the Beast line too. Some of it is available in juniors' sizes, and I kind of want to see if I can fit into any of it.
ETA: The Kohl's stuff starts at 2T, so those of you with older daughters should take a look. So cute!
So talk me out of my little anxiety. DD is in the lower percentiles for weight (but DS was too so not worried about that per se). She went 12 hours ON without eating, woke up, took for friggin ever to suck down her bottle, played, sucked down another bottle and went to sleep. It's 2:30 in the afternoon and she's had a total of 11 oz for the day. She normally tanks up in the evening and sleeps all night. Let her continue doing her thing or should I wake her up and feed her?

I'd say do her thing. Kids are so good at getting what they need. As long as she doesn't seem lethargic with the sleepy I wouldn't worry too much.

@kitchen OMG burn it down! @snuff9861 I'd just leave her, maybe she's fighting something off. I get being worried about the low weight babies, my two were/are the same. I've been stressing about DD's eating for over 4 years now.
Both kids are down for a nap. DS in his crib, DD on the couch (she fell asleep watching a show), school in an hour. She NEVER falls asleep this early if she naps at all (which is maybe once a week).
I just emailed my boss about all the days off I'll need in the fall. SO many PD days for DD. My coworker told me everyone is putting in their vacation requests so I didn't want to miss out (especially Christmas time since my DCP is on vacation and closed as well).

@kitchen burn the mother effer down. OMG. I'm so sorry you've had such house trouble. fem I'm glad therapy is going well. I can imagine how you feel. After talking with the nurse at my OB's office twice now and getting this whole treatment process started, I'm feeling very emotionally exhausted. This afternoon has been a complete wash. @snuff9861 I'd leave her. She'll catch up at some point today.
And I dropped a container of protein powder on the baby's head from 4 feet up....she's fine right? I need to watch for obviously bulging fontanelle and your classic concussion symptoms, but she cried and is now sitting in her swing watching me finish making dinner...

My kid had a bruise on his forehead for a week because I dropped a boot on his face. I felt awful. Just watch for the stuff you mentioned... it's almost certainly totally fine. Their heads are hard for a reason .
I sat on the kitchen floor holding her and crying.

I did that when I dropped my cell phone on her head.
