Weeks/Size of Baby: 34 weeks tomorrow, as of Friday babies were 4lb 10oz and 4lb 12oz
Symptoms: large and uncomfortable.
Appointments: weekly NSTs
To Do's: pack hospital bag! Also still need to find a pediatrician
Rants/Raves/Randoms:
QOTW: Are you planning a baby moon or doing something special before baby is here? Will you do a special dinner? Not really. I'm getting a pedicure this weekend but that's about it.
Symptoms: aching hips, peeing all the time, all the heartburn
Appointments: 3/10
To Do's: Wash baby clothes, go to storage unit to find DD'S baby stuff we can use
Rants/Raves/Randoms: I got to see him in a 3d ultrasound today! He's so cute and looks like DH. And they said he's measuring a week ahead and is already 3.3 pounds... DD was 6lb 1oz and born on her due date so I can't imagine having a chubby baby!
QOTW: Are you planning a baby moon or doing something special before baby is here? Will you do a special dinner?
Symptoms: getting pretty uncomfortable especially after walking around a lot
Appointments: GBS swab Thursday
To Do's: clean car seat and bassinet
Rants/Raves/Randoms: Had an ultrasound today and baby is looking good! Head down and ready to go when the time comes
QOTW: Sticking close to home at this point. Might go to DH's friends' grad depending on when it is (sometime in March, date TBA) and how I'm feeling for one last fancy night out before being stuck at home for a while

Weeks/Size of Baby: 39 weeks today/ a damn cat apparently
Symptoms: lots of lightning crotch when she moves and sore lower back lately. The insomnia is out of control so just extra tired.
Appointments: next is on my due date on Monday, debating on a sweep depending if I I've progressed from the 1cm a week ago
To Do's: nothing! I'm ready!!!
Rants/Raves/Randoms: the feeling that I need to pop my lower back started today and it's so annoying! I can't bend or twist like I normally do to try and pop things.
QOTW: Are you planning a baby moon or doing something special before baby is here? Will you do a special dinner?
Nothing special planned, will probably do a special dinner once she's arrived and I can have a nice beer or glass of wine with lol
Symptoms: discharge, sore back, waking up every 3 hours to pee and the most brutal charlie horses I've ever experienced! However, overall not doing too shabby.
Appointments: This Friday! L&D tour, paperwork and a check-up. Not sure when the infamous butt swab happens.
To Do's: For home? Nothing aside from general cleaning. For work? ALL THE THINGS! Still have a couple big projects I'd like to finish before baby comes, and I'd like to tidy my room/desk for incoming long term sub. Ultimately though, whatever happens happens.
Rants/Raves/Randoms: Can't think of any! I don't feel like I'm about to have a baby yet, but that isn't stopping me from over analyzing everything and worrying I'll go into labor at any moment. Hoping I don't go over FMLA and can ride out leave through summer. Also wouldn't mind going to 40 weeks just because then I'd have a week at home during break to clean, organize and mentally wrap my head around this whole having a baby thing.
QOTW: Are you planning a baby moon or doing something special before baby is here? Will you do a special dinner? We have a gift certificate to a fancy restaurant - maybe we will hit that up. Otherwise no real plans. (previous loss mentioned) Prior to and immediately following our loss we lived it up and traveled to California, NYC, and camped around the entire Lake Superior, so I feel like we did our "baby moon" through those things. I'm just ready to be a family of 3!
daisylola11, I had that need to pop my lower back too! It's infuriating because you feel like you should be able to but can't! Also definitely looking forward to a glass of wine/beer once baby arrives.

Weeks/Size of Baby: 30+3/platypus without the tail
Symptoms: All of them
Appointments: MFM today. Hopefully it's the last time with them, though I said that last time. But at least I'll get a peak at little guy.
To Do's: Nursery furniture comes this week and then we can decide what else we need to get for the nursery. We know we need some decorations but we want to get the bedding set up first to see what we want.
Rants/Raves/Randoms: My MIL is pestering me about my RCS date because we mentioned that we might talk to the ob and see if we can get it switched from 4/28 to 5/1. I told her I see the ob next week and we'll discuss then and she's just keeps saying how she needs to know asap because FIL needs to request time off (they only live an hour and a half away). She wants me to tell her the exact date now but I can't. Now I almost hope I go in to labor before my RCS date just to make it even more difficult for them.
QOTW: Are you planning a baby moon or doing something special before baby is here? Will you do a special dinner? We have nothing planned. We did a very small weekend babymoon before DD but now that we have her, it's more difficult to get away.
Symptoms: Random bouts of hips feeling suddenly unstable, rib pain when sitting, nausea is back, babywearing for dog walks is becoming too tiring to be a smart decision. Feeling a little lightheaded sometimes, maybe related to the fact that my bp was 93/51 at my last appointment. Seems low for 3rd tri!
Appointments: nothing until 36 week check
To Do's: pack everyone's bags, talk to doggie daycare, get our room ready for the baby and the future nursery ready for my mom. Oh and figure out what to do about birth control pp, since I think I'll get asked at the next appointment. I would love light/no periods with a mirena but worried about potential effects on supply.
Rants/Raves/Randoms: There is no comfortable position in which to nurse a toddler at 34 weeks. Bought a few newborn sleep n plays since our house won't be 90 degrees when we bring this kid home so he'll actually need to wear something under a muslin blanket.
QOTW: Are you planning a baby moon or doing something special before baby is here? Does trying to get H a switch even though we didn't manage to score a preorder count? He's been working crazy hard but would hopefully have a little downtime for zelda in the next ~5 weeks.

Weeks/Size of Baby: 33w2d Pineapple
Symptoms: My abs are really sore and my ribs are stretched and tingling. DS is still transverse so I'm hoping it'll alleviate once he finally flips.
Appointments: Thursday afternoon
To Do's: -pack the hospital bag -make freezer meals -finish the nursery
Rants/Raves/Randoms: not much. Just really really want little man to turn over.
QOTW: Are you planning a baby moon or doing something special before baby is here? Will you do a special dinner? We weren't able to do one this time with having DD, house projects, and school, etc. But, I think we're going to put her in daycare for a bit and go out on a lunch date for St. Patty's Day.

Weeks/Size of Baby: 33+1/pineapple
Symptoms: Hemis and constipation, always. Insomnia and having to get up at night to pee have started, sigh.
Appointments: I went yesterday and everything looked good except they couldn't be sure if baby is breech or head down. I go back at 36 weeks and if they still can't tell, they'll do an ultrasound. Also they think I might have a UTI but I'm not too concerned about it.
To Do's: This week I want to find the infant insert for our infant car seat, call the car seat company to see what base is compatible with our seat, clean out the nursery closet (it's still full of DD's old stuff), get the bassinet insert for the p&p back from my friend I loaned it to, put girl sheets and blankies in a box somewhere handy, pack our hospital bags, and find someone to feed our cat while I'm in the hospital.
Rants/Raves/Randoms: I was having timetable contractions for about an hour and a half Sunday night. They started out at 15 minutes apart for about an hour, then got as close as 5 minutes, then 4 minutes apart, and then... TMI, sorry, but it turned out I just had diarrhea. So that was scary and also made me feel really stupid for thinking I was in pre-term labor when it was just gastro-intestinal problems.
QOTW: Are you planning a baby moon or doing something special before baby is here? Will you do a special dinner? We are doing a pre-baby stay-cation- my in-laws are taking DD next weekend so DH and I can have a weekend to ourselves. We're going to see a local community theater group do the musical "Urinetown" Saturday night so I think we'll have a special dinner that night, too. If only I could have a bottle of wine with it!
