Yikes - sorry for the rough morning nam2013. Rainy days are the worst.
I'm WFH today, so trying to catch up on the mountains of laundry I have after unpacking. Also going to make a gym trip during my lunch break. I pre-ordered Moana last night from Target. I am so excited to see it.
nam2013 and chrisy01 I hope the rest is the day/evening is better for you two!
Just dropped B at preschool and an trying to decide if I'm going to brave the commissary this morning. I save so much money but I just hate dealing with it.
Annnnd just remembered it's payday AND retiree pension check day so it will be insane. Nope nope nope, Publix it is.

Sorry for the rough day nam2013. Hopefully going out tonight turns your day around.
My computer crashed last night and wouldn't turn back on. I ran it to the geek squad at 830 last night. I normally work off two screens. Today I have to work off a laptop and iPad. It's gonna suck and take twice as long. Ugh. Tonight going to watch Valerie June with a friend. I'm actually going bc another friend couldn't make it. I don't know her music but I've heard a few songs and liked them. Going to have some drinks before for Mardi Gras.
oh no, sorry for the rough start nam2013 and @peachsmama. Hope your day turns around asap.
Both kids cried at drop off again. Man I hate those days. But they were both over it 2 seconds later. But I got to work on time and had a couple of emails in my inbox that I've been waiting FOREVER for, so at least that's a good start.
Morning! Sorry for the rough starts ladies. I hope everyone's days get better. I dropped H off at preschool a few minutes later because threenager. Right now S and I are hanging out at home until we need to leave for her appt. I know she weighs more than H did at her 1 year appt but I'm interested to see how the rest of her stats stack up. I am not looking forward to the shots though.

Do you have Aldi? The local military moms say it is way better priced than the commissary but I have no first hand experience
We have an Aldi and they may be cheaper since they only carry their own brand, but I tend to be brand-loyal so I don't really shop there. IME the commissaries beat all in terms of name brand items everywhere we've lived. You're basically paying cost plus a 5% surcharge. I'd say WalMart is the closest otherwise, but I try to avoid WallyWorld, too...the one near us is not delightful 😜
What an awful morning, @peachsmama. I'm so sorry. Also my make-up routine (haha) is moisturizer, lip balm and mascara - and I keep an extra mascara in my purse at all times for those mornings when I somehow forget. My face looks naked without it.
Colin decided he wanted to wear his Rangers jersey after he was already dressed today. That required me to change everything, since his original pants didn't match It's my own fault that I was late today, but he was too cute for me not to indulge him.
Chase only woke up once and briefly last night. I was in and out in 20 minutes but it probably took just as long to get back to sleep. How annoying.
tgrimes1980 we are on a trolls loop at our house. Has M seen that one yet?
Not yet. Is it better or worse than watching Frozen/Beauty & the Beast?
It has good music. I enjoy it. I think it might be a little better for the adults than frozen/beauty and the beast. By the way, H calls it you-you and the beast for some reason, lol.
yummeecookee yes to the 2 and 3 carts! It's crazy. Also the families that shop together so they're essentially a herd just blocking aisles as they debate the pros and cons of breakfast cereals. Just give me my Raisin Bran and let me by! It gives me road rage...hence why I continue to pay more out in town.

You need to shop at Aldi more. The produce is usually great and cheap (no brands there) and milk and eggs. Plus they have great snacks. And I really like the shopping experience. I have never stood in line for more than 5 minutes because they are so fast and I find that customers are more cordial there.
I will dissent on the fruit/veggies. Mine got moldy after a couple days, the berries specifically, and that doesn't happen with the ones from hy-Vee. But give me all the eggs, milk and butter.

Co-worker is complaining about being fat and cramps. So I say, "let's go for a walk". She said no, then I get back from said walk and she's drinking a coke and eating king cake. That isn't good for fat or cramps....oh well, I think she just wants to bitch.

That sucks tgrimes1980. I pretty much lost my mind all summer when I couldn't get any packages or mail delivered after our move. ON should overnight you the items after that mess.
tgrimes1980, I'm surprised they didn't offer to resend the order. I had something similar happen with gap a while back. I accidentally shipped it to my old address and the post office didn't delivery it. I called USPS and they said they usually just end up throwing things away after so long. I called gap and they resent the order...a couple of weeks later the original order showed up at my new address.
FFTC: I kept both. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning an order that I didn't need a refund for. At least they got my money.
My day started with L playing in a toilet of C's fresh pee. Always fun.
Chase is obsessed with Colin's potty. We have to keep all bathroom doors shut and keep an eye on him when we're in there together, because he can't keep away from it. So gross.

This was the big toilet, not that it makes much difference. So gross. We usually always keep all bathroom doors shut fot this reason, but I didn't see her sneak in there with him!
