Hi all! We finally made it home around 6pm last night. I was so glad to be home, but then I had to get right back in the car and head to the grocery store. I hit the pillow so hard last night and slept well.
This morning was ok. Drop off consisted of a few tears because M was tired. I've been at work all morning. The day has been ok.
S's appt went well. She's pretty much exactly the same size as H was at 1. She didn't love the shots or blood draw but otherwise did great. I picked H up from preschool and she was a mess. Paint on her shirt and a hole in her pants. At this rate there won't be any 3t hand me downs.
I packed up all of Evie's 4t clothes this weekend and pulled out 5t. My kid is a beast.
Soulmates!
B is moving into 5/5t, too, although he's been in 5t jammies for awhile ๐ญ I think we got a little extra mileage out of the 4s because he got sick and lost several lbs.

O is currently watching Moana all the time now. We have Kodi on our Amazon firestick so we can watch all the movies that are just released from theaters. We'll probably try Trolls when he gets sick of Moana.

Yikes to all the bad mornings! I hope things turned around for everyone! And hugs cagoldi you need a break.
We needed up having a fabulous weekend, with dh taking Friday and Monday off. He did amazing at my birthday do-over after a crappy few days last week. Of course after a long weekend of eating all the food and drinking all the booze I was feeling bloated and sluggish this morning and couldn't wait to get to the gym. I was running on the treadmill and suddenly got super dizzy /9 I got off and sort of crouched Down and almost passed out! It was the craziest thing, I seriously saw black spots. After that I went and sat in the locker room because I felt really shaky until I felt well enough to drive home. I have no idea what happened and I feel fine now. Maybe it was my body's way of saying "hey you're 33 now, you can't just drink all weekend and then jump on the treadmill like it was nothing!"?
Anyway, I lazed around all day and now I'm sitting in the pickup lane to get Landon and his friends from school.

I guess it's almost spring here so maybe I should start getting some spring clothes out. Most of his stuff was 4t from last year that I think should still fit.. he sometimes finds 3t and it's comically small.

First chance posting today...sorry for the rough mornings!
Today I applied to 2 more jobs and talked To a recruiter at a 3rd place who is going to pass my resume along. Hoping the last one works out. One of the jobs I'm not too crazy about but feeling like if I qualify/in my field I should apply.
Can't believe some kids are in 5T! L is still in 3T

I would love to see M next to some of these 5t 3yo's. That would be funny. He is in 3T in shirts an no where close to out growing them. He is outgrowing most of his 2T pants in length, so I'm grateful for adjustable waists in 3Ts, but they are long on him. I saved a few 2T shorts from last summer that I'm hoping will still fit him for spring through beginning of summer.
I feel like Emeril! (What is his catch-phrase? I need to figure this out). I made my first-ever attempt at true Cajun cooking tonight with jambalaya and it was delicious (if I do say so myself). We had a king cake for dessert and lo and behold, B found the baby He was thrilled and is excited about his year of good luck (and has promised to supply next year's king cake).

I was starting to think B was a little shrimp w all these 5T wearers; then I saw there's a handful of us still in 3T โบ๏ธ I've actually just moved her to 4T in tops.

This Cajun girl approves. ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ LizInFL LOL.
Which is more narrow 4 or 4T? (5 or 5t?) E is tall but skinny and has even proportions so he won't need 5t length but I think shirts will be short on him come summer
The regular bottoms are typically longer with less room in the seat than the T sizes (no diapers).
I believe regular shirts are supposedly a bit slimmer than T sizes because it's assumed the kids will start slimming down/losing their tummy.

Love it--I may start hitting you up for tips/recipes! I made DH track down gumbo filรฉ for me b/c the recipe called for it and both Publix stores near me were sold out (!!) I wanted it to be as authentic as possible. Now I'm hooked. I want to try etoufee next.

What recipe did you use? I've never made an authentic jambalaya myself. At home, we get fresh meat from boucheries for things like that and I just never bothered to try it out of state. Filรจ powder is hard to find sometimes, so I'm glad that you did!
E did ice skating lessons tonight. He stood up by himself for the first time and then chickened out the rest of the lesson but he marches around and has no fear of falling. kim22JoeLies ate we ready for an n13 hockey team yet?
Just FYI, everyone who plays with Colin gets a Rangers name. And all other teams must be referred to as "the naughty [team name]'s". Colin is pretty strict about his ground rules.
