Challenges: A few motn wakeups lately. Not sure if it's teething or what.
Funny/cute stories: He has this new laugh where he opens his mouth as wide as possible and let's out one big HA. It's hilarious. I die every time.
How are you? Good, just tired from the wakeups. We are currently working on getting bids to finish the basement bathroom and I'm not looking forward to maneuvering our finances to do this (but I really want it done).
Anything else? Not baby related, but it's my mom's 50th birthday tomorrow. My aunt and I set up a surprise party for this Saturday and I'm pretty excited.
QOTW: The best thing about spring? Better produce selection! Farmers market starts up around here in a couple months and I can't wait.
Funny/cute stories: Tonight at dinner, he broke apart the quiche muffin I made and had the big one say to the little one,"Hi baby. I'm mommy. I love you."
How are you? Sore and exhausted this week.
Anything else? Saw my o/b yesterday who recommended I see another RE in our quest for baby #2. Mixed feelings.
QOTW: The best thing about spring? (You are NOT ALLOWED to say warmer weather. Too easy.) If I cant say warmer weather then I need to say longer days!

Age: 3.75
Milestones: Being the best big sister ever!
Challenges: I'm pretty sure my answer to this will be attitude until she's, oh, 30.
Funny/cute stories: I took J on a mommy-daughter date to the salon yesterday where we both got our nails done. She loved it! And it was fun watching her get dolled up.
How are you? Tired, but doing much better than last week.
Anything else? Just adjusting to having two kids. There were days when I never thought we'd be here...
QOTW: Getting outside more. My family gets cabin fever quickly.

(side note @enchanted I LOL'd at "still won't shit in the toilet" even though I know it's probably not as funny to you... and too cute with The Girl thinking "sorry" is universally to The Boy =P
tkford216 we just got a LITTLE bit of money from my inlaws (they sold my MIL's father's house...) so we went and got a new wash machine, dish washer, and now are trying to negotiate basement floors (ours is 1/2 finished) for the unfinished part - it's all a pain!!
oldbaylover1024 so happy you've got your new smoosh home with you!!!
@boxerific are you insane? to give up CHOCOLATE for lent?!?! ((I've tried to commit to giving up my road rage and short temper at work... -_- )
Milestones: ohmyGAWSH the independence in this boy... especially on weekend mornings. He'll get up, might come to us for help changing out of his wet diaper (nowhere NEAR nighttime PT'd) but then will go downstairs and get himself a yogurt smoothie and a Halo orange... and be chill to play - this past Saturday (because he was up at 6:30 UGH) it was for almost 2 hours!!!
Challenges: the nighttime PTing - not that we're trying AT ALL, but more in the sense that DH forgot to put a diaper on him two nights ago, so of course - who had to get up at 2am with a crying boy - SOAKED PJs, sheets and pillow... (because - DH never hears this stuff MOTN!!!) and every other morning, his PJs are damp from diaper overflow in the morning.... ugh
Funny/cute stories: I brought one of our dogs to work with me last week (after getting TWENTY NINE teeth pulled!!!!) and Button said in the car that morning, "Make sure the people at your work know that he's not THEIR dog!!!"
How are you? ugh. phones at my job have been down since last Thursday, the different phone vendors keep pointing fingers at each other - hopefully the tech and replacement equipment today get these things finally working!!! (I'm in healthcare, so phones are CRUCIAL! we've had calls forwarding to a company cell phone for 5 days...)
QOTW: The best thing about spring? It's still light when we get home from work/daycare! and Button can start riding his scooter with his neighborhood buddy again!
Milestones: she's blowing kisses now and saying, "This!" and "That!" while pointing =P
Challenges: specifically today - she had a BIG blowout this morning in her PJ's (like - I think DH and I said it was unprecedented, even between the two kids) but then threw up at daycare, and had more diarrhea, so DH just picked her up for the day...
Funny/cute stories: she shakes her head no now, so I'll ask, "Do you want chicken for dinner?" and she shakes, no. and then I say, "do you want applesauce?" and she points and says, "that!" =) How are you? well, see above phone issue - combined with sick baby at home (that must stay home tomorrow as well) and I'm hoping I can take tomorrow (or at least half of tomorrow) with her...
QOTW: piggy-backing off the above answer (light longer) - Ms. Mack now wants to walk up and down the street, watching brother ride scooters - but then she tripped on Sunday and scraped her nose... she's a little worse for wear today... (and DH gets to have all the cuddles! BOO!)
ETA (you guys - I'm tech savvy, I swear, but I've had the biggest issues the past two days posting pictures!!!)
Milestones: He is trying to take steps!! He only does it with H, which is ridiculous, but he's doing it.
Challenges: The attitude. How a kid has so much at one is beyond me. He is full of it and heaven help is all if he deems we've crossed him in some way.
Funny/cute stories: Y'all he got a Mickey for his bday and every time he picks it up, he smiles super big and gives him a hug and a kiss. So freaking cute!
How are you? Tired. Solo parenting this week as H has a show in. We've only seen each other once this week.
Anything else? We went to the allergist today on the recommendation of our pedi. W has a severe intolerance for oats that the doc doesn't think He will grow out of. Sigh.
QOTW: The best thing about spring? (You are NOT ALLOWED to say warmer weather. Too easy.) Ummm....UO here, but I HATE spring. I have severe allergies so spring is basically the worst. If I had to pick one thing it would be my bday, but even then it's not that exciting.
Challenges: Today? Sleep. He woke up at 3 a.m. and I had to sleep on his floor to get him to go back to sleep. Then he was in bed with me at 6 a.m. (DH is traveling). Thanks, toddler bed, and thanks DH for pushing the toddler bed. :-P
Funny/cute stories: He keeps saying "Oh, sorry" at every little thing. I don't want him to make that a habit, but it's pretty cute right now.
How are you? Other than a lack of sleep, pretty good.
Anything else? Nope.
QOTW: The best thing about spring? (You are NOT ALLOWED to say warmer weather. Too easy.) The birds return. (We have a lot that winter here, but we get a huge variety in spring and summer. Love them.)
