txcatlady, my cats are too fat and lazy to jump into the crib. I think one of them jumped in DD's crib once and that was it. But their hair floats around the whole house so I'm sure it will make its way into the crib. It's nothing to wash the sheet though so I'll probably put it one and then wash it once baby boy comes.
Lol this is when it's great to have a dog with short legs!! Tho we just moved to a toddler bed so I'm wondering how long til he wants to sleep with DS
Our nursery furniture is coming tomorrow and I'm so excited. I can't wait to put the bedding on and see how it looks. Do you think 8 weeks before is too early to put on the crib sheet?
Have you aired out the mattress? If so, then nope, not too early
Woah! That's running REALLY late! I hope they get to you soon.
they did, finally. The rn who I always see there was super sweet and apologetic, checked on me twice. But the OB (she's new) didn't even mention it. Like, come on lady.
That's just rude (her not mentioning it).
I had to wait upwards of an hour with my OB with DS1, and he ran in all apologetic about being late (one of his other patients was in labor)
Ugh that sucks irish14 . DS had a ENT appointment yesterday and they were almost 2 hours late before walking in the door. It was in the hospital I work at and the doc tried making a joke about it like "you should know better than to come on time, you should come an hour late!" Ummm no, I actually appreciate when my patients come on time so I can see them on time.
In other news, help me decide on a Tula print! Both are $100 (prints are being discontinued) and I wasn't out to get a particular print to begin with. Thoughts??

We're reusing DD's crib mattress so no need to air out.

I had to take DS to the pediatrician last week and we had to wait an hour past our scheduled appt. He's 4 and has a good attention span so he's fairly easily entertained with my phone, but I flett bad for the mom beside me with a 2 year old. You'd think having child patients would make you more cognizant of being on time
Doctor office waiting is the worst. Unless I have nowhere to be and they have good magazines that I refuse to buy but want to read. Then it's mama relaxation time lol.
What a snowy day we had! I was topping out at 30mph on the highway and that was pushing it sometimes.
My woe was having to discuss 'breaking up' with a client. I work with kids with disabilities and although this guy has been making progress I know he could be doing so much better with a provider who can give significantly more treatment hours. Ethically it is the right thing to do even though I could easily justify staying on board and coasting. The mom cried when I started bringing up that I think kiddo needs more. Oh such a guilty feeling.
Anyway, sorry to everyone feeling sick, apathetic, or stuck sitting forever waiting for the doc!
