We eat together as a family almost every night, but it's mostly because we eat lots of stuff in the slow cooker and DH is home to get other things started. It still feels like a race every day though. By the time I've got DD settled in her high chair and DS served his meal, I have approximately 7 minutes to scarf my food down before DS is done eating and needs something.
Dh gets home late most nights so I make a point to sit and have dinner with the boys every night. Dh usually eats around 8/8:30. I start making dinner at 4:30 (I wfh) then we eat around 5:30, bath at 6 and bedtime is 6:30. Dh was home tonight and Ds1 kept holding his arm and giggling. He was so happy to eat as a whole family. If I didn't wfh I have no idea how we'd be able to get everything done before bedtime. You ladies amaze me!
Word, I work from home a lot and it's a lifesaver. Today I had to go into the office, and the evening was a total shitshow. And we have an 8pm bedtime!

Yup we plan for fast dinners. H usually is home by 5 and if the kids aren't screaming banshees he starts dinner so we can eat right when I get home at 530/6. Eat at 6 then start getting ready for 7p bed
I'm already over today. I have my review this afternoon. Blah, is it the weekend yet?!
Good luck! Weekend so soon.
Thanks! It went just fine. They send us their assessments ahead of time, so the only "surprise" is the raise amount. Now I just have to make it through this next half hour and I'm outta here!
We eat as a family. DH gets the girls at 430. I am usually home by 530-545. We eat and the baby goes down by 630 most nights. Then the big kid by 745. Evenings are fast and furious. We do a lot of easy meals or crockpot. I meal plan typically.
The britax recall is really cramping my style. Baby us asleep and I'm sitting in front of Target. I want to beable to go shop while he sleeps but I now have to take him out if the bucket seat and I know he'll wake up!

Omg last night P was awake trying to crawl. She never rolls over but three times rolled over and got on all fours and cried. She was probably asleep doing it. We kept flipping her back and by the time I was in bed she was over again. Sigh.
And now she's got a super cold and is fighting naps. Not a fun day.

Stringy yeah, DS must feels safest in his crib because every time I place him in there it's automatically time to start practicing crawling and pulling up. Which means he gets frustrated and cries. And doesn't fall asleep. Ever.

Can you just put the bucket in the cart?
I was heading directly to stroller strides in the mall so I needed the stroller and I haven't mastered stroller + shopping cart.

DS also has wonky teeth. He has four now - bottom center (normal), then bottom side left, then top side left. I think he's working on the other 3 up top right now but they're taking their sweet time...

Jack o lantern looks are amusing me. We had 3 on the bottom and 1 honkin huge tooth on the top for a bit, which was strange looking. Now it's all 8 so all toothy grins all the time.
