Stop with the 9 month outfit/size 4 diaper talk (:sticks fingers in ears:)
kleigh I definitely saved a newborn diaper for each of mine. My mom saved one for me so the tradition lives on, lol. They'll totally thank me someday for all the random paraphernalia I hang onto, right?!

I took C to the baby class this morning and he rolled over during tummy time! I couldn't believe it. That class is apparently magic. Now I'm having all the feels. I'm happy that I got to see him reach this milestone because I was so sad thinking that I'd miss it when I go back to work. But I'm also thinking about all the rest of the milestones that I might miss. This also just seems so huge. Like for the first time I'm not seeing a little baby anymore, he's growing up and becoming mobile. Seeing other kids just a couple months older than him and they seem so much older. It's just so fast. I'm blabbering so don't know if I'm making sense right now.
And here he is yesterday. I tried to do a full photoshoot but he was not having it. Luckily I got ONE cute picture with the 4 month sticker.
MH and I took off today to go with N for her first day at school. She did great and everyone was so excited to have her there. There is another N in her class that is a month older and at least twice her size! She seems gigantic, but probably just the size DS was at that age. They went for a walk and they sent us to get coffee, which was nice. I'm sending in her frog chair to keep her sitting up as much as possible though.. Anything to prevent another flat head/helmet situation.
Now i just got back from the dentist and MH and N are snoozing on the couch. I may lay down too, I'm pooped.
Pretty chill day here. I cleaned some. Lillian did dance. I'm debating if I want to go to Target now or wait until 3:30. I'm leaning towards now, but that means getting children into the car 3 more time today instead of 2. But Lillian might nap and I wouldn't have any time pressure. Hmmm...
Lilah is still fitting into most of her 0-3 stuff and size 2 diapers. I stuck a 4 on her once out of necessity (Lillian wears 4s) and it wasn't too huge. I make small people apparently. I think only Monty and AV are smaller than Lilah. I'm ok with that! Here's my littlest in the activity jumper.
One day we'll laugh about the time I "ran to the grocery store real quick" with 4month old twins and realized I locked us out of the house a little too late. Right?
Thank God H works 12 minutes away. Seriously what would I have done?!

Sorry about the allergy results waitwhat. It seriously scares me to think about that. Luckily/unfortunately we live in a time where it is common so it helps make things just a tiny bit easier.
kleigh Oh no! Glad that you're H works close by. I love having keypads on our doors. It's seriously awesome not having to worry about keys. It makes going out for a walk easier and with my keyless car, I don't have to pull out my keys trying to get in or out with a car seat.
goldenlove3 Keyless car is exactly the reason this happened. I'm not used to going for keys so I hesitated putting the house key on my car keychain. It's just been in a pocket in my purse, when I go for a walk I don't even bother locking the door (stupid probably).. Anyway, I used the key this past weekend and put it in my jacket pocket. But today was gorgeous out so I didn't grab my coat on my way out the door!! Stupid!
We were/are still considering keypad - are there any cons you've run into?

LizInFL, there's different ways to do it, but the kind I had today is like regular fried chicken except they used wings and Korean spices. It was really good!
@kellighttc, I can't tell you how many times I've locked myself out of the house. I'm happy your H was near by to let you all back in!

Well I'm home and currently nursing DS2. He only took 4.5oz total all day. But I suppose that's better than nothing. I guess he didn't nap that great either, only 2 hours the whole day.
But I survived my first day back. I learned that I really hate pooping at work and that my fingers are only capable of typing out the year 2016.

Oh, and when I opened my car door after work today there was a Target bag full of candy sitting in the driver seat. Apparently MH knows how to make me feel better.

Wins H of the year hands down! Or is this his romantic way of initiating [see also yesterday's thread] 😂😂

Lol!! No, this is his way of being sweet. When he's trying to initiate he offers to give me a back rub and then spends 2 seconds rubbing my back before sticking his hand down my pants.
goldenlove3 for milestones you may miss, I'm pretty sure there's a rule that milestones don't actually count until mom sees it. Daycare never told me about stuff like that for DS which I appreciated, but I'm 95% sure he was walking at school weeks before he did at home.
tgrimes1980 hope today was better at school and I'd be super angry too. Countdown is on for him to switch daycares.
Tonight is already starting out bad. J has had a handful of 30 minute or so naps today. So I put him down around 8 and it's 8:30 and this is the 2nd time I've been in his room. Lord help me.
Is he Up-Up or just rustling, need pacifier, etc ?
It's windy AF and we just lost power. And every damn smoke detector is going off in my house. And we have zero candles. And both my kids are crying. FML.
OMG sending you all the wine! That sounds crazy. I hope your power comes back on soon and your house calms down.

+1. Holy shit, waitwhat. You beautiful woman, you. Good luck lady 🍷
D is being unusually hard to put to bed tonight. I got her down earlier and had just enough time to wash a couple dishes and eat a microwave dinner before she was screaming again. So now she's nursing/pacifying on my boob and I am really hoping I can go to bed soon.
I'm so sorry the allergist appointment didn't go better waitwhat. I hope it doesn't come to it, but definitely let me know if I can help at all.
kleigh I have to second the keypad deadbolts! We have them on our garage and the door we go in and out of from our cars. It's way obvious for about a week when the batteries start to get low. I can't think of a single negative about them.
I'm hoping for a better day today jubilantsquirrel. That was incredibly sweet of your H!
So many things I wanted to comment on from yesterday, so bare (bear?) with me.
L O L to blowup pops
Pictures, so many cute ones!!! kleigh I love that AV is crying sophiegrace made me smile to see M in that onsie waitwhat your 2 boys looking at each other is priceless ClassyMrsA Lilah has such a sweet face. And that pic of Lillian is a classic jubilantsquirrel again, the hair!
tgrimes1980 I hope DC figured their shit out today with the bottles!
sophiegrace I think your feelings about your change in job responsibilities is normal. Your work relationship with H is an integral part of your whole relationship with H. So if that changes, it's easy to need to figure out how that effects the whole thing. KWIM?
ETA I came back to edit blowup pops to blowie pops, but it's too funny, so it's staying.
