First I eat the vanilla, followed by most of the chocolate. That leaves a perfect bite of chocolate ice cream, fudge and the crunchy stuff!
This is what I do: I eat the chocolate ice cream first, then the vanilla and gel topping (I love the colored gel on the top!), then I eat the fudge, and finally I eat the chocolate crunchies because they are my favorite! Your way is good, too!
Meeting Johns feeding threapist tomorrow. I hope we like her. We have set up referals with Ent and GI doctor next. I am sad we need this.
I'm sorry 😦 Remind me what's going on again? He's having trouble with solids, right?
Yes. He get all of his nutrtion through breastmilk stilll. Which is exhausting becauce I have to feed him at every wake up. We know he has reflux and are not sure if thats why he is struggling. We have changed his reflux meds many times. The speech pathologist thinks some is preventing him from swalowing anything that isnt a liquid. He coughs and gags on all soilds we have tried. He will only accept soild twice a week max. Trying to get hIm to eat is exhausting.
DS is sick, he has a cough and really runny nose. I can tell he's miserable and I feel horrible that's there's not much I can do to help him 😥. I don't know if I should call the pediatrician or if they could even do anything.

My rule of thumb is fever for 3 days, breathing difficulty, pulling at ear, bad sleeping for 2-3 nights in a row, OR really high fever (102-103) will warrant a trip. But, trust your instincts and if you want reassurance, take him in!
I loved johns feeding threapist. She suspects his tougue tied reattached with possible reflux issues. She was able to see his toungue is restricted. He is unable to get the food to the back of throat then swallow. We are going back to the pediatric denist. We are also working on getting him drink smoothies with draw in the meantime. I feel really relieved and excited.

Great news! I'm so glad that the therapist gave you some direction and hope!
After spending 20 minutes doing a disgusting deep clean of M's high chair I have decided it would have been worth it to burn it and start over. My kid is gross.
I just wish they would create straps that were easier to clean. Those things are terrible. Anyone have tips that work? Or can you buy replacement straps somewhere?
Oh, we definitely let him get messy. We do BLW. He also has a habit of stuffing any extra food between his legs and behind his back when he is done.
Thats the best. I have been giving John smoothie bowls. He loves to dip the spoon in the bowl but his favorite is just dip his hands and rub all over his body like body paint.
My son has a tongue tie. We tried to have it fixed when he was one month old, but it still looks heart shaped. The doctor noted it was still there. He is refusing to eat many things right now. He eats yogurt (usually spits out fruit), soft breads, goldfish, purees. He could just be picky or he may have learned that some foods are easier to eat. I got him to eat cheese and a chicken nugget, but he couldn't mash them up well.
It something worth getting looked. It can impact there abilty to chew and swallow.
Am I the only one still lugging my 13 month old around in a bucket seat? It's so beat up after 4 years and so heavy (she's about 20 lbs). But, it really is the easiest option with 3 little ones. I'm dreading the transition to the convertible. 😣

Nope. DD is crazy, and likes to run, especially in parking lots, so having DS contained in the bucket seat makes chasing after her easier. Though he is getting really heavy.
gooselover2012, are you still loving your curling iron? It's sitting in my Amazon cart because I want it so badly. I just need to confirm you still recommend it. Also, do you use product to help hold the curl? Thanks 😄

YES YES YES!
With other curling irons I would use moose and hair spray if I wanted my curls to last all day. With this thing I do just some hair spray and as long as its not humid out I have a decent amount of curl left at the end of the day.
Purchased! I'll let you know what I think of it this weekend 😁

Thanks, ladies!! My little guy even got me presents. Yesterday he took his first steps and last night he slept through the night for the first time. He's really growing up ::sniffle::
creepyeyeball that must mean it's time for another! So glad to hear you're doing well and that he is sleeping!
Apparently you called it. I got a squinter on a wondfo today. I haven't even gotten my period back yet. I just took a test because I wanted a glass of wine. Just went to the store to get FRER. Wondering if it's a wondfo false + or not.

And what did that FRER tell you?!?! Wine or no wine!!! Tell us
Wine.
Lesson learned - do not take an opk and hpt at the same time. If the strips are wer and next to each other, you get a positive hpt.
I just want my period back so I can know what my body is doing and quit peeing on things.
