My H is a good sleeper, I am not. We were talking earlier about having to be at the hospital at 6am for induction and he was complaining that it was early. I asked him if he really thought he was going to sleep the night before since I'm guessing it's going to feel like Christmas Eve. He said yes because he goes to sleep every night with the possibility that someone's house is going to catch on fire so a baby shouldn't feel much different. Touché H.
I, on the other hand, will be too anxious to sleep I think.
This is me. There's so much more room for food now that the baby has dropped. I just had a taco and a chalupa and feel like I could eat another one of each.
Another NST and visit with (a different) doctor this afternoon. I haven't met this one before, but it's nice to know who the other doctors are just in case.
Also MIL stayed home from work today, and wants to know if I "need help". If you don't feel well enough to go to work I don't want you here. She usually says that she is "so tired". It is hard playing Farmville and keeping the animals alive. You know, pigs and stuff could die. I have no idea where DH got his work ethic from.

I laid in bed while my toddler ran a muck at 5am... did not wanna get up at all!!! Ugh he did play well for about an hour but looking forward to nap time.
Gonna stay home and do some chores and chill, which is hard for me right now. It's not raining and DS has tons of energy, maybe a little walk will do us both good so we'll see.
obi, congrats! I hope you get to see your little squish soon!
@priss08, I thought my DH was a heavy sleeper, but I'm pretty sure he couldn't muster up sleeping soundly on a metal floor.
I'm feeling pressure at pretty frequent intervals. I'm thinking they may be weak contractions, but not sure. I have my last OB appointment in just over an hour. Hopefully things are starting to move along.
I'm halfway lying down at my desk today to finish some online training...quite unprofessional, but oh well, at least I'm here. I can't stand or sit normally for long without getting uncomfortable so it might be a long 2 more weeks of work. I wish I could work from home, but we are so short handed and I already feel guilty about the time I'll be on maternity leave...
My Mom is coming over and I'm headed out to run some errands. I also showered and got totally dressed for the first time since the baby was born. (Hair, make-up, an actual outfit). We we went to her doctors appointment (she gaining weight like a boss!) and then grocery shopping.
I've been working on and off. I think I need to stop and embrace the break. I don't know when I've ever truly taken a day off. Even on vacation I take calls, and send emails. Unplugging is making me a little anxious. Plus, I'm awake so much I really run out of things to do.
(We currently WATCH the baby sleep. She can roll over so we're scared to just fall asleep.) 😴😴😴I have heard of lack of sleep in the newborn stage, but I didn't expect to have a baby who sleeps so well I have to wake her to feed her, but be up watching her sleep! 😂)
glb30 good sleeping babies are the payoff for having to endure the nicu! I'm also checking work email daily. It's so hard to unplug but I'm also exhausted
callmeKD they sure do get these 35 weekers on a schedule!
corinne that is so interesting! I have been wondering if it is a sign of what her personality will be like later. Honestly, before she even came, I described her as "chill" just based on what I could feel during the days, and see on ultrasounds.
How fast does baby "drop"? Because out of nowhere I just felt like he was pushing down on my vagina, which is something I've heard people talk about but haven't felt until now.
He also keeps moving in ways that cause a quick, horrible charlie horse in my groin and/or butt cheek. And he's pushing so hard against my stomach I think he's trying to bust out.

So work got crazy today and I missed out on my TCF time. Not cool.
Anyways, 36 week appointment went great this morning! Belly is measuring right in track, heart rate 140, he's head down, I'm dilated 1 cm and about 1/2 thinned out. BP was only slightly elevated but not enough for doctor to worry.

We have been gone all day and are finally home. I'm having some dizziness and double vision going on, but my BP is pretty normal. It was a little high for me when I first noticed the vision issue but it's gone back down. I'm on the couch and DH is handling bath and bedtime. I'm hoping I've just overdone it today since we were gone alllll day and nothing is going on.
Appointment today went well, LO was trying to show off their foot through my belly when the doctor was using the doppler. GBS swab done. Since my doctor is away next week, I'll be 37 weeks next time I see her- early term! It seems the past couple weeks have flown by.
obi, congrats! I hope you get to see your little squish soon!

I know right!? I didn't believe it till other guys confirmed it.
33 freezer meals are DONE. What a day. We managed to get all but 8 done before noon, but due to a shortage of containers had to wait for some to freeze before we could use those containers for the last batch of meals. I'm sore, tired, and my head is spinning but it is DONE!
Now I just need to get the Labradoodle groomed next week (goodbye unruly, curly, dirt attracting hair!), and we have some living room lights being installed and our older dog has his annual vet exam the week after. These are things I don't think H even knows are scheduled (even though I've told him and they're all on the calendar), so if baby could wait for just another 2 weeks so I can manage those things that'd be great!
