Comparing Symptoms of Different Pregnancies

I'm always interested in how pregnancies differ for the same person.   I know it's early, but if you have been pregnant before are you feeling anything different this time around?

I'm still very early, but I'm feeling nausea & some heartburn. I felt both symptoms with my daughters, & they seem to start earlier with each pregnancy.

I had no symptoms with my son, only exhaustion with my daughter, and alllllll the symptoms with this one. I feel like a first timer. I initially thought I must be pregnant with twins due to the amount of symptoms and how early they showed up.

I have two boys. Those pregnancies were identical except that I had heavy spotting with DS1 and thank God I didn't have to endure that again. I'm still emotional about it. Gah.

My m/c was early at 5 weeks. Oddly, those symptoms seemed really strong to me.

This time around I feel like my boobs are bigger. This is like an instant boob job and I don't rememeber that from before. I also get nauseous if I haven't eaten in a while (a while could be 2 hour or 2 minutes) and this one is completely new.

My first two pregnancies I didn't really have a lot of symptoms other than the requisite bloating and run-down feeling. Up until today this pregnancy was feeling the same but today the nausea hit me like a ton of bricks.

Some days my symptoms are so slight I forget I'm pregnant until I remember I can't have that glass of wine I desperately want. I feel you.

This pregnancy, so far, is completely different than my first. With my DD, I really only had sore boobs and craved all the sweets. That was it. This time, I had implantation bleeding (first sign I knew I was KU), crave all the salty foods, have to constantly snack to avoid feeling hungry/nauseous, occasional morning nausea, and very fatigued. Silly me, I thought my second pregnancy would be as breezy as my first.

I didn't have major symptoms with L, and this time I'm noticing mostly the same mild stuff, but earlier - I think I might just be noticing it more because I know what to look for this time around.

I've been falling asleep in L's room at bedtime every night, and that started before my BFP. The night before my BFP, the sex was already kind of uncomfortable, and that seems to be a hormonal thing for me because it happened throughout pregnancy last time around and didn't go back to normal until I stopped pumping. And I haven't been nauseated, but I don't have much appetite, which is exactly what happened last time too.

I have had some random pains in my lower abdomen - not really cramping, and nothing that seems worrisome, but I don't remember them happening with L and I'm wondering if there's some scar tissue stretching or rearranging a bit.

My symptoms are much stronger this time. I'm also noticing my emotional symptoms much more because giving birth broke me, and i basically stopped crying, and now i cry at the drop of a hat.

I Say with this pregnancy the heartburn is setting in earlier. I constantly feel like I have a know in my upper chest.

This one is feeling pretty similar to DS. Main symptoms for both have been cramping, slight queasiness, and exhausation. The exhausation seems worse this time and the food aversions/bloating/frequent peeing are making an early appearance. Overall, pretty mild symptom-wise other than feeling like I need a nap all day long.

Eta how could I forget constipation? ☹️

This time is just faster and stronger for everything. I too was convinced I was having twins. I also have been referred to physical therapy already so I am fearing a VERY long 9 months and an especially long weeks 34-40.

I have had to pregnancies (not including my MCC and BO) with my 1st pregnancy (see siggy) I gagged every time i brushed my teeth and I was sick to my stomach a lot, with R, I was still nauseated by the thought of brushing my teeth but I was able to do it, I did have morning sickness a lot, lots of food aversions and I was tired ALL the time. With this one I feel nothing, which is why I had another beta done today for a peace of mind. I was sick really bad the day of BFP but I haven't had any other symptoms or sick spells since 2/14. Granted I am not 6w yet but the lack of symptoms has my loss brain going nuts.

ETA- Just missed the call from the RE because my office has horrible service. Of course I am not trying to analyze the tone in the nurses voice which only has me more eff'd up.

I understand this so much. I want all the morning sickness so bad...Just as reassurance. FU loss brain...

It's probably a little too early for me to compare but so far I'm nipples are super sensitive and already a little darker and I have more nausea that I remember ever having. Also, the bloat is ridiculous this time around.

With DD I felt fine first trimester, no symptoms at all!
This baby I'm dizzy, nauseous and so exhausted !! Lots of symptoms! My thoughts immediately go to Maybe having a boy this time !

So far this pregnancy has been about the same symptom-wise as my first. All-day queasiness, food aversions, gas pains, and sore boobs. The last is more pronounced since I am still breastfeeding, but so far no notable differences.

This one is hella worse than the last four. My doc just called in diclegis for me. It's equally reassuring and exhausting

This time around is really similar to my pregnancy with DS. Very very mild symptoms. Basically just sore/bigger boobs, sense of smell, and feeling a little more tired than usual.

With DD1 I had fatigue, dizzy spells, horrible all day MS (just seeing food on tv made me want to barf), and all I could eat 1st tri was fruit and crackers. Had no sex drive. I also bloated up right away, I remember crying because I went to MBA night class at 5w and had to stop at the mall on the way and buy maternity pants because my work pants were cutting me so uncomfortably I couldn't take it.

With DD2 I also had fatigue, dizzy spells, horrible MS, but I wanted all the meat and cheese, and I was also really horny, so we thought it was a boy. Newp!

3rd pregnancy I had the same fatigue, dizzy spells, and awful MS. I later found out my symptoms continued for weeks after I lost the baby, my body just didn't get the hint.

This pregnancy I have primarily only had the bad fatigue. I do get dizzy spells now and then, but no MS.

Fairly similar to my first pregnancy. Sore boobs has been the biggest symptom both times so far. I have noticed a few differences though: food aversions, strong food cravings, nausea (usually when I need to eat), and constipation. I don't remember having any of these last time.

With my first pregnancy I had pretty bad food aversions and cramping. My pregnancy with DD I had nausea, some sore boobs, and fatigue. I don't remember nausea starting until week 8 and being the worst weeks 10-14. I got some nausea last week (wk5) and I've been constantly thirsty, super sore boobs (I hold DD against me and it hurts), and I've been having some insomnia.

I'm way more nauseous this time. Last time I'd get a little queasy if I went too long without eating, but this time I've been seriously wondering how soundproof our work bathroom is.

I'm also not nearly as bloated as last time, which is nice. Then again, I still have the baby weight (that sticks around for 2 years, right?), so I already look about 4 months along. 😒

This one is pretty similar to my first. I'm exhausted and smells are bothering me. My first pregnancy I was starving alllllll the time but so far so good over here. I could drink an ocean of water everyday. Also, no cravings yet.

Baby # 3 seems to been on track with my other 2 pregnancies. However, I was way more nauseated with my first. MS and bloating seem to be my only 2 pregnancy symptoms.

So far this one is very similar to my first. The nausea seems to be not as bad but I could be that I've figured out how to handle it. There is more cramping and stretching down there. So far this pregnancy I haven't puked, not that I'm complaining.

I had terrible nausea with my first (but no vomiting) and that is back again this time. Along with fatigue. I am also instantly bloated again which frustrates me. I gained over 65 lbs last time of pure water weight. I had to take my rings off at 5 months. I really want to avoid that this time.

Mine feels very similar too, and the bold above is what I keep trying to figure out.  I feel like my symptoms are the same (fatigue, strong food aversions, nausea) but it seems like the nausea isn't quite as bad, but I was pretty proactive early on because it was so terrible last time.

ETA, I haven't puked this time either.  I only did about 3-4 times last pregnancy, but I was nauseous about 100% of the time until about 20 weeks.

+1 it's the same symptoms, they just aren't (or don't seem as) bad this time around.
