htle07 The no pooping is stressful! I have a friend who's little one only went once a week for over a month.
Early morning here. Up with DS since 5 (he went back to sleep) and DD at 530. While it's been nice that she's been going to bed early, I'm not used to the early wakeups from her.
Have an appraiser coming to the house this morning. Going to try and get my cleaning and laundry done today.
Happy Friday! This is the last day of my PT status. I attempted to sleep in instead of getting up when H does, but DS2 was up at 6 to pee and was up every 15 minutes after that to come tell me something random.
We have no big plans. I have some small projects I'd like to get done if the boys will comply. Hopefully, the uniform place calls about my lab coats being ready-if they do, we'll go pick those up.
I realized when I got into bed last night that I haven't posted the Arm/Leg Challenge in 2 days. 😳 So sorry. Is anyone still following along? erien22846 you and I are the only ones regularly checking in, I don't want to be a quitter, but if no one is utilizing it I may drop posting the check ins. Next week will be busy while I adjust to working FT again.
I have no advice on the poop issues. I have kids that go every day, mutilple times a day. If they don't-there is most certainly trouble brewing.
Also, my little has been sleeping since 7:20 last night. It's almost 8:30 here. 😳 I just cracked his door to make sure he is, in fact, breathing. He is. I guess he's very tired.
Mr. P is off today because the town he works in has their festival this weekend. I want to drop off my car for an oil change. I have my first appointment with the therapist this afternoon since my intake and I'm nervous about it. I met her for my intake and she was really nice so I hope it goes ok.

I was going to suggest that for the challenges, you post the calendar and just keep the entire challenge in one thread. Then people can check in each day if they want to.
htle07, DS1 was ebf and after he was 3-4 months old, only pooped about once a week. We were never told to give a suppository or prune juice. Once he was around 8-10ish months, we started giving him pureed prunes every morning (and still does today at age 2, mixed with his morning yogurt or in a smoothie) and he's totally regular. Right now DS2 goes every three days or so. We do the thermometer trick, bicycles and put him in what we call "squatty potty" position to encourage him to go. Why do they want you to bring him in?
I think initially they told us to do the suppository and prune juice and if those don't work, to call back and come in. Maybe bc he was already going on day 9 of it. I wonder without the suppository, would he have gone at all. They told us to feel his abdomen to see if it's hard. It's not noticeably hard, but then again I'm not a professional. I could not feel my goft ball sized ovarian cyst awhile back but the doctor was able to, so there goes my examination skills.
My niece was going on 8 days without and my sister said her pedi said to keep an eye on it because there could be other underlying issues that cause them to not go. Don't know the exact details though. Maybe just for precaution measures.
Yeah it could be totally normal but I understand if this wasn't happening and then all the sudden started, I would expect something has changed. Could be that his intestines are more developed or it could be something else. Who knows. Hope they give answers. What about a little apple or prune juice in a breast milk bottle instead of water?

My little slept a ton last night too. He napped 5-6pm and then still wanted to go to sleep at 7:15- slept to 4:45 (ate) right back down until after 7. Maybe he's growing.
Unsurprisingly, DS2 did not sleep well. His first wake up was 9pm and he was cry screaming, very unusual for him. Then DS1 woke us up at 10 because he wanted water--hell no kid, back to bed NOW. Then DS2 was up at 2 to eat again, up at 3 because his arm got stuck in the crib slats, and up at 4:30 because I don't know. And then we are all up at 6 because we have to be.
So glad it's Friday. No major plans for the weekend except food shopping.

This is a good suggestion. I'll try to set it up this morning.

They told us prune juice diluted with water. We tried it through a milk bottle and a syringe. He wouldn't take either. Won't suck on the bottle and spit the majority out with the syringe. 😩
I was told you could put it in anything so I'm sure bm is fine if he would take it. It's a risk though bc if he doesn't then you lose bm.
Ugh PA days are already ruining my life. Got both kids all bundled up (oh hai did I mention it's snowing) and all the way to Playgroup, only to find out it's a PA day. And since playgroup is in a school, it was closed. Le sigh. DS is extra crabby these days. I dont know if it's because he's still waking up eleventy thousand times a night or if all the extra sleep he's getting is starting to catch up with him. Whatever it is, he's down for a nap now because I cant deal with his whiney-ness. And the baby, who is usually so good at putting herself to sleep, is fighting her nap something fierce.

Good morning! I'm going to post and run but will catch up later.
Just got back from a lovely hike through the neighborhood to retrieve my dogs. H keeps leaving the gate open after taking out the trash. Twice this week! He's lucky I love him. And the dogs are lucky they have tags and my neighbors are nice enough to call.
Technically off right now but catching up on some work tasks. Then I'm going shopping for a dress for me and V for Coraline's baptism which is next Sunday. And picking up some shoes I ordered from DSW and target. Yay for booties! I hope they are comfortable.

Here - couldn't get on thanks to the outage.
I worked a 12 hour day yesterday, thank God that's over. The boys are being picked up by DH's parents from daycare this afternoon and then DD and I are having a girls weekend of sorts - DH has a game tonight and then a double header tomorrow so it's just the two of us! I'm kind of excited though, I don't really get that one on one time with her as it is and it keeps me from being with all 3 kids for basically two days straight.
DS2 looked like he may have the beginnings of pink eye this morning. It was really crusty and I cleaned it off, checked out his actual eye (which didn't seem red, just the area around his eye from me rubbing the crusty stuff off). I can't tell if it's congestion or not. Daycare hasn't called me about him so I guess it's okay? I sure hope so.
htle07 mine (EBF) regularly goes a day or two without pooping. While we're on the poop topic I have a question too. The last 4 or 5 days she has had a huge blowout about once a day. It's coinciding with starting solids. I don't think she's ready to size up on diapers, so I don't think that's it. Any ideas?
I just want to say how much I love Pinterest for coming up with last minute lesson ideas for me. A 1st grade teacher asked me to do a lesson on honesty and lying and I found one in 5 minutes that I am excited about.
I can hold my pee all day and pee again tonight if you'd like. That wasn't FMU so...
That wasn't even FMU?!!! I have so much projected anxiety for you right now. Congrats though!!
Hahah I dont even have feels right now. I'm like wtf. December baby? Have to get my paperwork ready to head back to work.... I need to work 600 hours to re-qualify for mat leave

I have feelz for you. I'm having an actual visceral reaction to the thought of being pregnant again. Like, I'm sweating.
