@wannabemama, I'm sorry your friends are bugging you. That would make me uncomfortable. I try to be very conscious of other people's comfort levels when talking about or extending an invitation to church. I usually only bring it up if someone says "We're looking for a new church, know any recommendations??" If you're that direct, I'll usually extend an invite.
hpnegirl, hope you're just feeling BH and that they go away soon. I'll tell you what everyone tells me...more water!
Oh Rama I clearly need to step up my lurking game because I was out of the loop with your appointment update! I am so so happy for your two little growing babies!!! I hope you have a restful day off. Maybe get some ice cream
I am so sorry about your baby C. This baby who I just recently gave birth to used to have a twin who stopped growing at 5 weeks, and all the what-could-have-beens often pop up when I least expect it. It's a weird loss because you are so very excited about the healthy growing baby(s) but you are hurting from the lost one at the same time, and a lot of people don't get it, or they just make dumbass comments. It's a mixed up place to be. What I am trying to say is that I am also here for you. Lots of hugs.
Fuck. I'm having what I hope are BH.. I didn't have these with DS1 and certainly not this early
I've had really early and painful BH this pregnancy. Second pregnancies are a totally different beast. Can you drink lots of water?
+1 I've been getting them since around 22 weeks now at least 2-3x a week so I'm pretty used to them. They are not crazy painful, but still a lot more painful then the first go round. Just make sure you're hydrating which I'm sure you know.
PirateCat we're still using the original tile. It's going to run right up to where the shower starts. So it's just tile for the floor of the shower.
What about a mosaic tile for the floor and accent, in that same gray color? Penny tile might look nice, to keep with the roundness of the arabesque.
I like this idea. It would give you the same color look as the original big gray tiles, but in a smaller size that can be used in the shower. The diamond shape, multi-color ones are a bit busy for me (but that's just my decorating style).

I did. They subsided, luckily. Of course, this would happen when DH isn't even in the state. Sigh
I'm glad they stopped. Since they stopped after some water BHs do come to mind. I do remember reading that you can notice BHs earlier in subsequent pregnancies.
I have a FFFC (long sorry! I'm annoyed right now)...I can't stand when my friends try to get me to come to their church(es). I try to just gently say no thank you, but some will just not stop. My dad is a minister, I consider myself a relatively religious person, but for me personally I prefer to not go to organized religious gatherings. I have no issues with people who do and I get that it is really meaningful for people, but I just don't want to go. If I did go, I'd go to my church that I was raised in, a very low key church without the theatrical element. Anyway...I have friends (and now a CLIENT) who constantly invite me to their church, try to tell me it's so fun, "not like church at all," etc. It puts distance in the relationship and it's like, that's nice of you to offer, but your insistence on repeating it is making me dig in. I don't want judge you for going, why are you judging me for saying no?! Oh yeah...MH was raised Muslim, his grandfather was huge with building the first mosque in this area...MH isn't religious at all, but he feels like it would be a huge disrespect to his grandfather (though he has said I can decide with our kids and all that, he would come to confirmation or other things like that but would probably stay home otherwise, which I respect). Anyway...just needed to vent that out!
This would also frustrate me! Inviting you past your first decline is just rude on their part.
wannabmama - Also, I'm lucky right now in that the majority of our friends don't attend church so it never comes up. But if we move where we plan to stay permanently, it's much more likely to come up.
I really expected more of this when we moved south. But almost no one has asked (maybe one person?). We're pretty open about not being religious and it doesn't seem to bother anyone. I think my town may be an anomaly though, and in other towns in the county it may come up more.
I'm getting very tired of having to copy the entire world on almost every email. People need to focus on what they're responsible for and trust they'll get pulled in when needed. The whole team has to copy essentially the entire time on every email. It's absurd.
FFFC: Nickleback keeps popping up on my pandora rock station. I'm more annoyed that they're showing on a rock station than the fact that it's Nickleback

They get a ton of hate, but I like a few of their songs. I'll admit it.

I very much enjoy Nickelback and always get teased for it.

FFFC: I love nickelback. I'd love to see them in concert.
I saw them a few years ago. One of the best shows I've ever been too. Their tickets have gotten too expensive for me since though, which is a bummer because I'd love to go see them again.
I've run out of room in my snack drawer at work so I'm starting to take over my filing drawer. I'm going to have clean all this crap out soon before this baby comes.
