venyia I hope they can fix the car! If not could you apply for a loan to get some money up front to fix it, so that SO doesn't lose his job?
We are basically tapped out. I have several maxed credit cards, his credit is crap (and is affected by having his identity stolen years ago which I am just learning about this week). We have no more resources to dig into. His job is going to be enough to dig us out... as long as nothing ELSE pops up to derail us again. Every time I think we are on the verge of okay, something else crops up. This adulting thing blows hard.
The change of mechanic got approved, so now we just see how many firstborn children it will cost to make the car safe to drive again. Its a stupid 2000 model. It isn't worth fixing, except fixing is cheaper than new car. Sigh.
We just had a traumatizing solid poop experience over here. Poor boy. He passed right out on me after and I'm afraid to move him so I'll just snuggle him for as long as he needs me to
shehulk723 free beer is my favorite kind of beer!!! Glad you're catching a break, even if it's a super small one.
venyia, ughhh to the car. Hopefully they're able to fix it for you and the price isn't insanely high. It's crazy how much it costs to fix a car sometimes.

Ugh we've had a few of those. DD screams and cries and turns herself bright red
