I think it's once daily? I've heard of women sticking it on their nipples and letting baby suck it off that way, but I don't know how good of a method that is because I have no personal experience
I can't imagine that working well, haha. 1ml is a decent amount.
The Tylenol will be labeled infant Tylenol and say for ages 2+. But that's what you need. You can find charts online based on weight that tell you how much to give. Or you can ask a pharmacist.
But I would get Tylenol and Motrin. On the nights things are really bad you want to have both to give overlapping.
*clears throat* I think I know someone who can help you dose those....

Mommy's Bliss gripe water! DD used to get horrible hiccups that would last forever and one dose of that stuff would stop them right away 99% of the time.
Also Triple Paste. It works the best for stubborn diaper rash IME.

Definitely baby Tylenol (Motrin after 6 months). A nose sucker of some sort (we swear by the nose frida) Saline spray (not the medicated decongestant) Gripe water and gas drops (see which works best for your baby).
My favorite thing is the Little remedies new parent survival kit. It has all of those meds together in one little kit. I think it's a BRU exclusive.
With my first I bought all kinds of post partum stuff (tucks, sitz bath, etc) and honestly didn't use any of it. So I wouldn't buy a huge amount of those things until you find out how delivery goes.
You'll also want whatever pain meds you use on hand.
I stopped using the spray, peri bottle, and tucks within a week but was on 600mg ibuprofen every 6 hours for about 3 weeks before I could manage without any meds. They gave me Percocet for the first day until I asked for just Advil for pain management.

This. I bought Tucks and asked my awesome nurse for an extra package to take home (so I could have one in the bathroom on each floor). I didn't end up needing them much once I got home.
hpnegirl, Nope you are not the only one - I already have it in my head to pack the granny panties that I bought after DD and to bring my own pads. I hate the mesh undies.

Oh yes to both of these things. Triple paste is magic, I swear.
And for those stubborn rashes that triple paste doesn't work on, calmoseptine (name brand, not store brand). That stuff works like a freaking charm and is an antibiotic ointment to stop it from becoming a bacterial rash/cure it.
Warning- not cloth diaper safe
I prefer little remedies for gripe water but it all worked the same for us.

Grumble grumble grumble. I needed all the things lol
Gerber Soothe anyone? It seems so damn expensive but I heard a lot of mom's recommending it.
Wait and see is my advice. Not all babies are fussy. When a baby is colicky though you will try anything to make the crying stop. This product did not exist when E was a baby but I would have tried it.
My only solace in those days was Ovol. It saved me. For all I know it could have been a placebo but I was doing something.

The colic drops? Wait and see. I never heard of them before this, actually.
I'll tell you though, make sure you're being efficient at burping baby before try that. DS was not one of those babies that would burp by being patted on the back. We had to legit bounce him until he belched. It was very amusing

Also, get a copy of happiest baby on the block
Ds was also not an easy burper. A lot of people (my in-laws) accused us of being mean when we burped him (lots of legit bouncing and vigorous back patting) but we just copied what the nurses had had to do in the hospital to get him to burp.
Also randomly for those looking at gripe water and stuff, ask your doctor. My doctor is very anti gripe water and has drops until the baby has had a chance for their "gut" to mature. He wanted to be able to recognize food intolerances and problems and have them not be masked (or attempted to be masked) by any meds initially. DS ended up not needing anything but being a ftm I probably would have quickly jumped to them had he not encouraged me that pretty much every baby fusses some. Some babies DO benefit from gripe water or gas drops though.

I was thinking the same thing. If you have a GERD problem it is better to treat with doctor prescribed medication than struggle with home remedies.
Basically everything everyone else said, but I'll give you my list of crap that I wish I had on hand the first time:
- Vitamin D drops - Infant Tylenol (4+ months) - Infant Motrin (6+ months) - A&D Ointment for diaper rash - Diaper rash cream of your choice - Vaseline + rectal digital thermometer - Nasal aspirator (steal the hospital one and also buy NoseFrieda) - We needed to use a few Windis to get some poops going, but the rectal thermometer also works for that - Baby nail clippers - Steal the little brush they give you at the hospital for washing their heads. It's amazing! - Foam shampoo. Big fan of Mustela - Water wipes
- Peri bottles - Tucks - Earth Angel Bottom Spray - Always Infinity pads - Lanolin (also happens to be the most amazing lip balm, just saying) - Pain meds for yourself (check BF guidelines - I can't remember)

Yeah, it was DS's pedi who told us to do gas drops or gripe water. I didn't know much about either until she told us to use them
I should also add that his pedi wasn't one of those that kept pushing newborn formula and let us switch to gentlease pretty early on instead of dealing with gas issues until 3-4 months like I've heard other pediatricians doing.

I purchased that book months ago. I haven't opened it though lol.

@osw maybe a soft baby brush. I found that super useful because DD had a little bit of cradle cap so I massaged in some coconut oil and let it sit for a bit then scrubbed it off with the brush
