Good morning, O17! How is everyone feeling today!? I, for one, am desperately avoiding eating the cupcakes I have in the refrigerator for breakfast. Someone stop me!
Cold cupcakes. I love when the frosting is cold! What's the set up? Vanilla with chocolate frosting? Other way around?
I think my food description requests are the equivalent of "What are you wearing?"

I want someone besides me to start new conversation thread. Do people not do this because it's uncool and I just don't know that yet? Someone clue me in!

Assortment! Red velvet with cream cheese frosting, cake batter cupcake with butter cream icing, cookie dough cupcake with cookie dough icing. They are from my favorite cupcake spot and are to die for!
This is what I'm talking about! I want that cookie dough one. Where are they from? Sweet Mandy B's? 😉

No one does this because no one has a burning question they want answered, haha. Chit chat/random conversation is saved for this thread. ;)
Gaiz, I am the worst pregnant. We went out of town to visit MIL and I forgot my goddamn cheesecake at home. I have a strong suspicion I will insist we get new cheesecake at the store while we're here. #cheesecakechronicles

Aw, this kinda bums me out because I like learning those types of things about people pulled out from this thread BUT I appreciate the honesty and the tip! I'm still getting the hang of this!

I just started two new threads!!! Nothing too exciting, but something.
I'm finally not feeling nauseated all the time, but still dealing with exhaustion. Not sure how much is pregnancy vs anemia. Plus I feel grumpy all the time. Taking my kids bowling today with my mom, hopefully it's fun. DH is at class all day. I'm tired of always solo parenting. Just a few more months, thankfully.

Chiming in on the drive through topic of last night, this becomes even more important when the baby arrives. It's so annoying to get kids in and out of their car seats just to go in and pick up food. Even better, delivery. We over Jimmy Johns because they deliver.
OMG yes!! I will honestly reconsider what I want for dinner based on if it has a drive through or if it delivers
A few years ago, I lived near a Jimmy Johns AND a Panera that both had drive thru's. I had no idea how awesome it was and now I want them back in my life!
So here I was thinking the baby was different since I had no ms at all and was feeling great. WELL as of yesterday I'm on the nausea train. Jeez. It really does suck. I went from "gimme alllllll the food" to "blech". Booooo!
yes to all the drive throughs! I have a drive through dry cleaners that I used to live much closer to but I still use because I'd rather drive 15 min and use a drive through than drive 2 minutes and get my daughter in and out of her car seat.

Grocery service just changed my life! My local grocery store (Raley's) has this service where you can order groceries online and pick a day/time to pick it up. I tried it for the first time last night and picked it up this morning and it was amazing getting everything I needed without having to shop with a toddler... or forget anything
I let H stay with LO during his nap and I went out to lunch. By myself. It was actually really nice. Then I got a call an hour in saying that the toddler was awake and needed me (lots of shrieking in the background). Soo yeah. I'm going to need to make sure DS is more comfortable without me around at some point prior to October.
For real!! Getting kids out of the car for food or short errands? Oh no. It is so not worth it. It takes way way way too much time and effort. And I thought that before I gku. Now that the exhaustion and patience (or lack there of) have really set in? Nope nope nope. I ain't got time for that.
Word. I think it was Gamer Girl that bundled her kiddo up at night in the cold for a craving. My laziness trumps my cravings every time!
Edit words
Guilty. Some cravings are just hard to ignore!
Rama I really hope you get some cheesecake soon, lol.
Warm duvet plus duvet cover (from anywhere, BB&B, target, etc) equals me not wanting to get out of my bed, ever.
This. Get a down duvet. We got ours from Macy's. Wait till they have a sale and they usually have coupons and if you have a Macy's card I think you'll get a deeper discount. We have a couple of these....and looks like they're on sale! They're ridiculously warm though and so soft and lightweight and barely crinkly. We originally got a level 2 or 3? and used to turn the heat down to 60 but since DS arrived, we've had to keep the house a little warmer and got the level 1. Also get duvet covers from Ikea if theres' one near, much more affordable. I confess, I have a sizable collection of duvet covers . I have fiber fetish.
Thanks to you and everyone else for the recs! I was stuck on a comforter and hadn't considered a duvet but that's a great idea. Bye bye monies 💸💸

Please update on the cheesecake situation. Curious minds want to know.
9 weeks today and I'm pretty sure I may as well just buy some stock in Always. I have a feeling these panty liners and I are going to be very good friends over the next months.

Ehh, it's early. Most of us are presumably going to be posting together for at least a year. Trust, there will be threads, both pregnancy/kid related and otherwise. Personally I'm just trying to keep track of who everyone is, get a feel for the group.

My first pregnancy with DD changed everything.... down there. And I've pretty much had to wear them everyday since. I asked my OB if I should be concerned and she was like, "nope, that's probably your new normal now".
